The next day, I was led by a guard to an interrogation room. I walked calmly, my head held high, as I entered the small, sterile room. The guard motioned for me to take a seat, and I complied, my eyes scanning the room with interest.

A detective, a middle-aged man with a stern expression, sat across from me. He introduced himself and began to explain the purpose of the interrogation.

"So, Delilah, we've reviewed the CCTV footage from the cafeteria yesterday, and we have some questions for you," he said, his eyes narrowing slightly.

I nodded calmly, my expression neutral. "I'm happy to cooperate," I said, my voice smooth and confident.

The detective nodded and pressed play on a small device in front of him. The CCTV footage showed me walking into the cafeteria, my eyes scanning the room until they landed on the victim. I watched as I walked calmly over to her, my movements fluid and deliberate.

The detective paused the footage and looked at me. "Can you explain what you're doing in thi

But I wasn't having it."You're the reason why Betty killed herself," Riezel spat, her eyes blazing with anger. "You manipulated her, used her for your own gain. And now she's dead, all because of you."I didn't flinch. I didn't even blink. I just sat there, my expression neutral.Riezel's face grew redder with rage. "Don't you have anything to say for yourself? Don't you feel any remorse for what you've done?"I chuckled, a low, throaty sound. Riezel's eyes widened in confusion, and she took a step back, looking at me with a mixture of fear and unease."What's wrong, Riezel?" I asked, my voice dripping with amusement. "Don't you like the new me? I'm not the same scared, vulnerable girl I used to be. I'm stronger now, more confident. And I'm not going to let anyone push me around."Riezel's eyes darted back and forth, as if she was searchin

As I slowly opened my eyes, I found myself in an unfamiliar room. It was empty, except for a single chair in the center of the room, where I was tied up. I tried to move, but my hands and feet were bound tightly to the chair.I looked around the room, trying to take in every detail. The walls were a dull gray, and the floor was made of cold, hard concrete. There were no windows, no doors, except for the one that I had apparently been brought through. As I sat there, trying to make sense of my surroundings, I heard the sound of footsteps outside the room. They were heavy, deliberate footsteps, and they seemed to be getting closer and closer.Suddenly, the door creaked open, and five men walked into the room. They were all wearing formal clothes, but their faces were covered with white sacks that had smiling faces drawn on them. It was a grotesque and terrifying sight. The men walked over to me, their eyes gleaming with a sinister light. One of them reached out and put his finger under

As I sat in my cell, I couldn't help but feel a sense of hopelessness wash over me. It had been a year since I'd been incarcerated, and I'd given up on the idea of ever being free again. But then, suddenly, I heard the guard call out my name. "Delilah, you have a visitor," he said, his voice firm but not unkind. I looked up, surprised, and wondered who it could be. I hadn't had a visitor in so long, I'd almost forgotten what it felt like to have someone come see me. As I stood up and made my way to the visiting area, I couldn't help but feel a spark of hope. Maybe, just maybe, it was Raphael. Maybe he'd finally come to his senses and realized that he loved me, not Riezel. But as I walked into the visiting area, I was surprised to see Claus sitting there, waiting for me. He looked different, humbler, wearing a simple sweater and a gentle smile on his face. For a moment, I just stared at him, unsure of what to say. But then I remembered myself and walked over to him, trying to comp

As I walked back to my cell, my mind was racing with thoughts about my conversation with Claus. I couldn't believe what he had proposed - marrying his father in exchange for his help in taking revenge on Riezel and Raphael.I sat down on my bed, staring blankly at the wall as I tried to process everything. A part of me was tempted by the offer - the thought of finally getting revenge on those who had wronged me was tantalizing. But another part of me was horrified by the idea of marrying a man I didn't love, and potentially harming his mother in the process.I thought about Claus's words, about how he would do whatever it took to make sure I was happy. But at what cost? I didn't know if I could trust him, or if he was just using me for his own gain.As I sat there, lost in thought, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being pulled into a web of deceit and manipulation. But at the same time, I couldn't deny the sense of hope that Claus's proposal had given me. For the first time in
