I spent most of the night watching over Lilly as she slept in my arms. I couldn't stop holding or looking at her yet. Part of me still didn't believe that she was here and alive and safe. I buried my face in her neck gently to not wake her.
I was still upset about how she saved Chance. I was trying to let it go but part of me was livid that she made that choice. That she sacrificed herself.
