YOU OWE ME A PROPOSAL

Qin Yue’s little request rang in the lifeless room tingling in Lu Sheng’s ears; only God knows how long he had been waiting to hear there words from her but now when it was finally happening he was unable to draft it into his senses. He stared back into the girl’s eyes which were anticipating his answer. Lu Sheng saw his own pale face in her spring like eyes, a sense of being complete welled up in his eyes.

Lu Sheng was getting lost inside her eyes when the door of the room was pushed open and appeared Bai Ning with two compounders. A warm smile appeared on her face when she saw Qin Yue and Lu Sheng in each other’s arms after a long while. Touching her chin with her finger she asked, “Ready for the surgery?”

Lu Sheng didn’t answer but drifted his nervous gaze at Qin Yue upon whose face was obvious anxiety. There was an eerie silence in the room as none of them had anything to speak. An Zihao lifted his head to meet Bai Ning's gaze, he asked, “Shouldn’t you be in the operation theatre?”
