Stella POV.

"Mom," I call out as I walk back toward the open area of the store, but Mom is busy talking with another person, it wasn't the sale person, this one looked like a porcelain doll, I had a feeling she was the same thing this lady is, standing tall, looking too beautiful, and so rigid.

"Mother, can you come here?" I called out to my mother out loud, trying to get her attention, but she didn't answer me, she was acting as if she was not hearing me, not here with us in the shop.

"Pretty one, your mother is busy, and it's very rude to call her when she's talking to another person," the same lady says coming from behind me, she held my arm with too much force, I tried to get away, I tried to pull my arm out of her grab, but the lady had an iron grab on me, she wouldn't let go, no matter how hard I pulled, I thought about screaming, but screaming out loud wouldn't get us anywhere.
