The restaurant name is “Fingers”, which is a pretty weird name but you know, people like weird things.
As I walk towards it, I do a quick google search and I find out that the restaurant is actually a five star restaurant. The reviews are all singing praises and it is known as one of the best places to dine in the whole state. When I lift my head from my phone, I mistakenly hit someone by the shoulder and the man turns towards me angrily.“Watch where you going.” He says and doesn’t even wait for me to apologize, he just simply continues his strides.I place my phone in my pocket as I approach the famous restaurant. It looks elegant but yet also casual at the same time.I take in a deep breath and I let it out when I reach the glass door at the entrance. I am a hundred percent sure that Patrick Sans is in there. His location pings here.Someone exits the place and holds open the door for me to walk in.“Thank yoThe sheer amount of force from his body as he hits me throws me backwards and we both fall.My entire back hits the floor of the bathroom and I yell as pain grabs it. We both struggle and he successfully sits on top of me and straddles me.He tries to hit me in the jaw but I dodge him successfully, making him more angrier. He swings again and this time, his fist lands on my jaw, causing me to gasp sharply.“You took him away from me!” He punches me in the jaw again, but this time, on the other side.“All he wanted you to do was your freaking job!” He yells in my face. Small bits of his saliva lands on my face but right now, the pain distracts me from that.I try and struggle to gain the upper ground and to push him off me, but he is just too heavy.“You picked the wrong guy, Jen Davis. Now I will do what that stupid sniper couldn’t do.” He says as he continues his physical assault. He lands strings of punches on
“I think she’s waking up.” I hear someone say and it’s like their voice echoes through an empty room.“Jen..Jen?” I hear another voice and my eyes open slowly. At first everything seems blurred, and then steadily, my vision clears. The first person I see is Robert and he has a look of concern on his face.I feel a hand caressing my hair and I soon realize that it is his hand.“I thought I lost you...” He says and I try to move. My body aches when I attempt this.“Don’t.” I hear the voice that I heard at first. The voice is incredibly familiar.“Don’t try to do any harsh or fast movements.” The voice advices.“Chad?” I ask in a tired and raspy tone.“In the flesh.” He responds as he walks towards me and into my view.“But—but you were hospitalized.” I say in confusion. Am I hallucinating, or am I still asleep?“Shhh..” He says.“You need to rest, stop talking so much.” He adds.
What the helll? Why are there gunshots!?“Stay here...” Chad tells me as he goes to check it out. I roll my eyes at his advice, for I can’t even get out of here even if I wanted. He exits the room and my curiosity is higher than a kite right now.Are those Patrick San’s people trying to avenge him? I have so many questions.Or it could be a family or close friend of many of the people I have killed.A few more shots go off and then silence fills the air.Soon, the door open and Robert walks in. He looks like he was sleeping.“What’s going on out there?” I ask him and he chuckles tiredly.“It’s a lady by the name of Naomi. She is apparently celebrating that Chad is out of the hospital.” He says as he walks towards me and sits on the bed. With gunshots? She is crazy indeed. He takes my hand and holds it in his own as he gently caresses it. I love to feel his skin on mine.“From
They say death is just a form of sleep that one does not wake up from. Am I dead? I seem to be conscious, but yet I can not move my body.I try to open my eyes but it takes more effort than usual. When it finally opens, all I see is light. The light is so bright that it’s blinding. I also hear birds chirping and a light rush of wind in my ears.Am I in heaven? If so, then how in the world? “Oh, great, you’re finally awake.” Someone says and I try to look towards the voice, but my neck is stiff as a rock. The person walks up to me towards the bed and into my view. It is Robert. He looks refreshed and happy.“How are you feeling this morning?” He asks me as he waits for my reply with a smile. How is this possible? I can clearly remember Naomi trying to kill me with a syringe full with drug.“I....Was Naomi here?” I ask him and his forehead creases in confusion.“Yo
Not being able to move any part of my body feels surreal. It makes me feel kind of bad for what I did to Robert when I first met him.I had drugged him also, and he was so shocked. This is a very terrifying experience and I don’t wish to do this to anyone ever again. I rather just kill the person instead of letting them suffer in prolonged pain. That’s just plain evil. The door of the room opens and I am expecting Robert to walk in, but it’s not him.“How are you, dear?” A beautiful middle age lady walks in. She has on a white lab coat and her hair is white as snow. She is very beautiful and her accent makes me think that she is from Australia.“I’m not very well, I can’t seem to move.” I tell her as she walks towards me. She has a briefcase in her right hand. There is a sitting chair and a coffee table not far from the bed. She makes use of the coffee table by placing the briefcase on it. She then
“What?!” I respond to him in panic.“I said that the Lieutenant is..” He begins and I interrupt him.“No, James! I heard you the first time!” I say to him and he closes his mouth, making a small sound. This is not good. This is definitely not good!“What is he doing here?” I ask James. This couldn’t be a much worse time. I can’t even move if I wanted to. Which means that the Lieutenant could literally just walk up in here and handcuff me.“I believe he came to talk to Robert.” James replies.“Is he alone?” I inquire. I desire to know as much as possible.“He is not. Another guy is with him.” He says and I gulp. My breathing has quickened again and I am trying my best to calm down.“Where is Robert?” I ask and James scratches behind his neck.“He’s uh..he’s not here.” He says and I swear if I could move my body, I would have broken a vase on the floor out of frustration.“Wher
“Okay, let’s go buddy.” I say to him as he drags his body from the car and stands to his feet once he is out.“Whoopsie..” He says when he almost tilts over and falls. I grab him by his shoulder and I place his arm over me.“I love you so much, James..you help me a lot.” He slurs his words and I sigh.“Be careful with where you step.” I say to him with a smile as I lead him to the back door. Now I can could sneak him into the house from the back here, but I would still have to pass by the Lieutenant in some way for me to be able to take Robert up the stairs and into the guest room.“We are going in now, buddy. Remember..shhh.” I tell him and he chuckles like a two year old. When we reach the back door, I meet Carlos and he helps us by opening the door for us to walk in.“Are they still there?” I inquire from him and he nods. I am referring to the Lieutenant and his companion. I lead Robert in and the stench of
“Shhhh.” I try to keep her calm but she drops the phone on the floor the instance her eyes see the bloody state it is in.She finally stops yelling and she begins hyperventilating.“That’s..that’s blood.” She says as she try not to look at the bloody phone on the floor.“Come with me.” I tell her and I lead her into Robert’s room. She sees Jen laying on the bed, but she focuses back on me.“I can explain.” I say to her as I glance at Jen for a minute.“Explain what? That you had a phone covered with dried human blood?!” She says loudly as she runs her hand through her hair.“Where is Robert? Is he okay?” She asks, worry replacing her panic.I fight the urge to roll my eyes. I have worked for these people for years, is she really trying to say that I could killed Robert?“Robert is fine, he is in the guest room.”I inform her and she begins to take deep breaths to calm herself.***Jen’s POV*
