Schuyler's P. O. V.

“You're late.” Hannah said with a serious look on her face. “Take a seat.”

I pulled the chair beside Irina who looked away from me. Their faces were void of emotions as they eye me carefully. I have seen this coming since I received the message from Irina this morning.

I still don't feel good after the argument I had with Celeste and Marisse, but I can't rest my mind yet as I have to deal with these four women. Although I don't see the importance of this sudden ‘meeting’, they say.

I remained silent until the waitress came and asked for our order. The restaurant is known for its fine meals, but because of the main reason why we're here, I didn't order a proper one and only had a side dish.

None of us said anything until the food arrived and Ember broke the silence between us.

“Shouldn't you say something, Sky?” Ember asked with sulking evident in her voice.

“Tsk!” Irina hissed before looking at us. “She has nothing to say. It's her life. We were out of it.”
