Chapter 6

"Oh so you're the girlfriend," I nodded while I kept a toothpaste commercial smile.

Lolla moved even closer to Trevor and her huge melons were touching his arm while his eyes were never leaving me. He probably wanted to see my reaction. However jealous I was, I would rather die than let him noticed.

"I was lucky that we have a flight here and I wouldn't miss this chance to see him," the other woman said huskily.

Trevor at last looked at her and released a knowing smile at her. They exchanged flirtatious stare and I badly wanted to hit both of them with my bag.

"You're a flight attendant then. Actually you don't look like a dentist or a teacher," I commented still smiling.

Trevor shot me a look while Lolla frowned in puzzlement. Obviously she didn't regard it as a backhanded compliment since she probably had no clue that Trevor was a mansl*t. If she knew, she wouldn't agreed to be his woman not unless she didn't care about his other females.

"By the way, you can call me Christina. Nice to meet you Trevor's girlfriend. I will leave you two alone so you can catch up with each other," I said while trying very hard to hide the sarcasm in my tone.

My ex's brows knitted. "Where are you going? You just got back," he asked in a cold voice while looking stonily at me.

"You're still busy and I want to breathe some fresh air again. I suddenly felt suffocated because the room is somehow stuffy .Bye, Lolla," I bid my farewell in a friendly voice though all I wanted to do was prick her boobs with a needle.

My jealousy was fueled because Trevor just let her rubbed her tits against his arm. The perv was enjoying it for sure. I removed my eyes from them and moved to the door.

"Christina!!" he called but I didn't even turn and just ignored him.

Man slut!- I wanted to tell to his face but of course I didn't. With my head held high, I closed the door behind me.

They deserve each other!-I thought.

His girlfriend was exactly what he needed. They were a perfect match! Lolla appeared to be a femme fatale while my ex was a cunning pervert and an exploiter. I could think of a lot of bad words to describe him but I won't waste my time. I just hated him to the core for what he was doing to me and almost did where in fact he had a girlfriend. I was lucky I didn't lose my innocence to him. He was such a hateful man and never again would I let him near me. I would go back much later after lunch. He and Lolla were probably done with whatever nasty things they wanted to do by that time.

I was about to hail a taxi when a male voice called me. I looked at where it came from.

"Chistina Petrov?" asked a man who seemed to look familiar. "It's really you!" he extended his arm for a handshake, "I'm Reiner de Guzman." he introduced himself while grinning.

I almost cocked one brow. But out of politeness, I raised my hand for a quick handshake. I even managed to show a small smile.

Trevor's former classmate and Lolla's brother looked different. I hardly recognized him. I remembered that he was hunky nine years ago but now he was a bit chubby with a beer belly. He was still cute looking even with his receding hairline. He seemed friendly too. Somehow my dislike for him sort of disappeared. He appeared to be likeable because he had a good aura. which was the exact opposite of his friend. Actually like with Trevor, I didn't make an effort to really get to know Reiner which I now regret. If I didn't play with my ex, we would be probably still together. I shook my head slightly to erase that thought. Gone was the gentle Trevor who loved me.

"I knew it was you. Your natural dark brown hair and pouty lips even your fair skin makes you stand out even before. You really have lovely features because of your Russian blood," he added.

I laughed lightly at his compliment. "Thank you. Anyway how are you? I didn't recognize you, sorry."

He was now grinning from ear to ear, "Is it because I look hotter?" he joked and I couldn't help giggling.

"Kidding aside Chrissy, I am glad I saw you .Thank you for not snubbing me. You used to glare at me all the time years ago. I was scared to approach you,." he confessed.

" I am sorry I was snobby back then," I admitted.

"But that didn't stop Teejay from liking you," he said out of the blue and I frowned. He was about to say something more but his phone rang. "Okay I'll be there, he said to his caller.

Just then a taxi stopped in front of us and two females got off.

"Reiner.."

"Chrissy..."

We laughed after calling each other at the same time. He held the taxi door open for me and told the driver to wait a second. I didn't expect that he was a gentleman.

" I am hoping that I will see more of you that is, if it's possible," the last part he said almost to himself, "I want to change your bad impression of me," he added.

I nodded. "Sure I would like that. Your sister is with Trevor at his office waiting for you for sure. Anyway I have to go. See you around."

"You bet! See you again! Bye Chrissy!" he said as I slid in the backseat.

He made sure that I was properly seated before he closed the door. I waved at him and gave the driver the address of Alice's small kindergarten school. I badly needed to get away from my man slut ex and his girlfriend who looked easy.

Stop being judgmental Christina! Don't let your jealousy make you critical!- I scolded myself.

I shook my head and sighed. Then my mind went back to Reiner. I thought that he was a bad person but he was in fact a nice guy. I made a mental note to not judge people base on their appearance. Look where that brought me now. Trevor hated me because of what I did to him and unfortunately for me, he was now my business partner.

"I can't believe that Trevor has a girlfriend! So he got a revenge on you by leading you on?" Alice asked in a shocked voice.

"Who told you that he was able to lead me on? I never trusted him since he came back! And for your information, I am still not interested in him!" I said while looking at some picture books on her table. I didn't want to see the teasing look she was surely throwing me.

"Whatever! Anyway I will not let him do this to you! Come on!!" she stood up." Let's go!"

I frowned. "Go where?"

"Since you have the morning off, let's go shopping! I owe you a dress remember? Last time we attended a party I puked on your dress so it's time I buy you a new one!"

"I don't need a new dress!" I protested.

"Yes you do! We will use your loveliness to cause your ex's downfall. It is the best counterattack since we both know how crazy he was about you! You will seduce him and he wouldn't know what hit him once he sees you later! He would fall hard again for you and I stake my life on it!" she added with a giggle as she pulled me with her.

(Trevor)

"Hi mate!" Reiner greeted me as he entered the room.

I rose from my swivel chair and welcomed him with a big smile.

We had kept in touch when I left for Australia. Contrary to what Christina thought, Reiner was actually a nice guy and a true friend. He even advised me to talk to her before I left but I didn't. When I became successful, I made him fly to Australia and gave him a job. I hired him to be a manager of one of my furniture shop. He was on his vacation now so he went back to the country so he and Lolla could meet after a long time.

"Welcome back mate!" I shook hands with him and patted his shoulder. "So how was your flight?"

He beamed as he walked around my office, "It was good thank you. You are really the best for getting me a business class ticket!"

I nodded still keeping the grin. "I'm glad you had a nice flight. By the way Lolla is in the toilet. She couldn't wait to see you."

"Yeah me too! It's been years since we last saw each other!"

I chuckled. "I made a reservation for lunch for the two of you. I will join you next time."

"I am so lucky to have a generous boss and a friend rolled in one! Thanks mate!"

I chuckled, "That's alright."

"Hey guess what mate?! I just saw your ex! She is bloody gorgeous! I was really surprised but very glad because she was nice to me! " he said with a beam.

My grin disappeared and I clenched my teeth and was about to grab him by the collar to shake him but Lolla appeared.

"Reiner!" she happily ran to her brother.
