I took the piece of paper and stared at the scribbled number them.

"Thank you Layla. I will."

She narrowed her eyes playfully. "For real Ava. You better call me. Don't just say it to get me off your back. Promise?"

Laughing, I nodded. Layla was such a character. "Promise I will."

"Okay." She stood up, straightening her clothes. "Also, if you need other things, you can also tell Aiden which should be obvious to you, by now."

"Aiden? But he should be at work."

She smiled knowingly. "Oh he is at work alright."

I raised a brow at the look on her face.

"Aiden is currently working from home Ava. He ordered that all works should be taken back here. So, feel free to roam around a little and stumble into his room." She winked. "If you know what I mean."

I reddened while she chuckled.

"You are such an expressive person Ava." She cooed. "See you later?"

"Sure." I nodded, standing to see her to the door. "Be safe."
