She Missed Him?

Serene was slightly irritated after the car from Amelia but it only lasted for a home t before she picked up her phone again and dialed a number. The call soon connected and she pressed the cell phone to her ear.

"Hey" she muttered.

"Gosh, Rene! Where have you been all day?" Paige's voice sounded very loud when she answered. It was almost like she was yelling, trying to let her voice sound above the noisy background. It sounded like she was currently in a club.

"I have tried your number like a hell hundred times today but you did not answer the call! If I was not busy on set, I would have gone to your apartment and when I eventually checked the hospital after my job ended, you never went there either! You have no idea how worried sick I was!"

Although it was quite busy where Paige was, she spoke very loudly that Serene was able to understand everything that she said. Serene pinched her phone tightly and thought that she had also not planned for the direction her day went that day.
