Chapter 50

Max POV

I felt Penny tighten her grip on my shirt...i stole a glance at her and found out she's shivering...she closed her eyes tightly probably cause of the smoke

I need to get her out of here now...I can't afford putting her health at risk

"So what's it gonna be Max?... times are wasting and as you can see the building is falling apart so make your decision now!" he snapped this time visibly angry...he played with his dagger glaring at me like a devil he is

"Like I said before you ain't laying your dirty fingers on her not when am alive..."he laughed hysterically like a mad person

"Don't worry Max once you're dead I'll finally settle the score with Penny"

"Max" I heared Penny whisper my name

"I..I don't want you getting hurt cause of me "she whispered almost in audibly getting down from my arms

I stared at her quizzcally as she stood up staright...looking at Oliver

"Penny this is really not a good time to act this way ...the building is falling apart and we need to leave now... forget about Oliver I'll handle him!" I yelled glaring at the bàstard who kept grinning mischievously

"Yes Penny you guys need to leave ..Max will handle me all by himself "he said mockingly

"Why you good for nothing _"he laughed lightly

"M..Max please..you can't handle Oliver...he's more than the eyes meet" she pleaded for reasons best know to her

"B_" with such great speed Oliver rushed at me landing a blow perfectly on my stomach...I fell on the floor with a knee up spitting out blood

"Max" Penny tired helping but he got hold of her hurling her to the ground

I swept him off the floor with my left leg ...he groaned lighty crushing to the floor...I grabbed hold of him by the throat pinning him to the wall

I threw a punch at him which he quickly dodged...he grabbed hold of my right arm twisting it pinning me to the wall...I winced lightly struggling to break free but the idoit grip is freaking strong

"Let him you bàstard !"i heard Penny cry

"Awwwn Juliet is trying to save her Rom_" I managed to break free striking him with my elbow

"Penny run ...get out of here Penny now!"

"Max I can't _"she coughed violently clutching to her throat

"Penny leave now "

"Max_"

"Nobody is leaving here until I say so!" I heard Oliver bark ...

"Shut up" I muttered kicking hard at the mid section...I really want to end this bàstard life right now but if I wait any longer the house is going down with us in it

I dragged Penny by the running to the nearest exit

Authroess POV

Meanwhile.....

"Pathetic"Liam hissed loudly as the guard fell heavily on the ground ..it's the 4th guard his talking down ...he sighed heavily running around on large hallway

"Where the heck is Penny and Max?"he muttered

He needs to find them and get back to Tina...he proceeded deep into the hall and couldn't help but smell smoke

Huh?...he coughed heavily as the smell grew stronger...he heard a cracking sound coming from a direction he couldn't pin point

He brought out his gun in case it was an enemy... suddenly the roof crashed down with the woods busting in flames

"Now I know the source of the smoke "he said...he kicked a door open covering his nose ..

"Max !"he yelled

"Penny!...where the heck are they?...it's too risky to be in here" he coughed violently as the raging fire continued...he continued walking for a while until he stumbled at a river...

"Max I can't run anymore am getting tired"Penny complained with her hands on her chest

"Max "she called again as she didn't hear him reply her

She turned abruptly to see Max bleeding!

"Oh my God!"she shirked ...she rushed to him aiding him seat on a rock

"He stabbed you...how didn't I notice?"she asked herself

Max winced in pain trying to stand up

"No Max seat "she hushed...she looked desperately for something she could use to fetch water from the river... thankfully they we're out of the burning building

" I'll be" Max held her arm pulling her back to himself

"You're injured" he muttered touching her lips lightly

She smiled out tears staring at "Max...this is all my fault "she said after a minute of slience

"Am the cause of all this Max...I...I..if _"

"Hush" he placed her index finger on her lips...

"Everything is gonna be okay... we're already out of the_"..a gun shot was heard interupting his statement

Max held Penny's arm tightly dragging her near an oak tree

"Stay here and don't go anywhere" he said sternly

Another gun shot was heard but this time is sounded nearer

Max stood ready with his small pistol held tightly in his hand

"Oh maxxy" Oliver dragged his burnt body leaning miserably on the wall

"Idoit...you thought that little fire would kill me..."he glared at Max wickedly devising a way to kill him

"Good thing the fire didn't kill cause now I'll have the chance to finish you myself"

"I'll like to see you try..."both men aimed there guns at each other... with one swift move Oliver diverted his aim shooting at the oak tree Penny hid

"Arrrgggh!" Penny screamed fearfully running blindly to Oliver direction... realizing her mistake she changed direction but unfortunately Oliver caught up with her grabbing her neck...he encircled his elbow on her neck grinning widely

"Leave her alone!" Max yelled..he grinned the more bringing out his dagger...

"Tell me something Max...how does it feel having the one you love so much about getting killed?"

"You_"

"Answer me!..how does it feel?"

"It feels terribly okay...it feeling like hell!!" he retorted

 "It does doesn't it... that's the same way I felt when I saw my precious Becca about getting killed!!" he yelled angrily

"W...what do you mean?" Penny asked fearfully trying to break free from his grip

"Let me brief you bîtch... you're mother Chelsea fûcking killed the love of my life! ... Chelsea killed Becca right in front of me..!!"he yelled breathing hard .... Max became speechless...so Oliver is doing all this cause of revenge he thought

"And now am gonna return the favor" he grinned about stabbing Penny when he got shot at the leg

Huh?...Max turned swiftly to see Liam aiming his gun.. Penny broke free running to his direction ... Max hugged Penny warmly as Liam approached them

"Nice timing" Max said

Max and Penny stood near the river back as they embraced...

"You need to get to the hospital now Penny... you're all injured" Max chuckled tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ears

"I'll go get the car ready" Liam said walking away

Liam approached Oliver about cuffing his hand when he brought out a gun... Penny laid her head on Max's board shoulder enjoying the hug...

"Oh no" Max muttered grabbing his gun

Without a second thought Oliver pulled the trigger... Max pushed Penny out of the way making the gun hit him

"Max!!!!! "He gave out a weak smile before falling into the raging river

Louis Vuitton POV

I watched from a safe distance as Max fell into the river...can't believe he risked his own life cause of a stupid girl

I humped loudly calling Alex to help Max out

It's time to pay your debt Mica...you'll get to know the same feeling being separated from your own son

"So how is he doing?"i asked Alex my personal assistant as I sat next to Max on the bed

We look so much alike ..the same skin type and red lips

He really is my blood...I smiled watching over him

"He's good tho he lost a lot of blood...but the blood transfusion has already been done... "

"That's all?"

"Not really the doctor said he's likely to lose some memories"

"Okay then...prepare the jet....I think it's time we head back to Asia"
