Chapter 23

Tina POV

"Good morning sugar lips"I opened my eyes slowly

I rubbed my eyes to wipe the sleep away

I sat up staright on the bed...I scanned the living room and found Liam racking his closet

I got down slowly from the bed and walked to him

"Good morning Liam... thanks so much for yesterday"

"It's nothing Tina"he turned smiling

"Now go and freshen up...nanny has been calling"

Oh my gosh!

I totally forgot to call her ..she must be pretty mad and worried

"I need to hurry up and get back home"

"You can use the bathroom over there"he pointed

I hesitanted for a while looking at Liam to leave the room

"Aren't you having your bath?"

"Well...can you please leave the room?"I asked trying to make my voice sound so polite

"Sure thing"he walked away gingerly 

I pulled off the pajamas Liam gave to me last night

I tied a towel around my waist walking into bathroom

I enjoyed the warm water that rained on me as I turned on the shower

My mind drafted back to Liam ..he's such a gentleman

I blushed as I thought of the kiss he gave me last night

I can't thank him enough for saving me yesterday and a day before that

But there was question that troubled my mind

Last two days when I saw him In the ally he looked like he leader of those thugs

Is Liam into some kind of shady business?

I walked out of the shower and was surprised to see some fresh female clothes on the bed

Did Liam do this?

The door to the room flew opened revealing Liam

"Am so sorry I'll come back later"he was about leaving when I called him back

"Thanks so much Liam ..I really don't know how to repay you"

"It's nothing Tina...now get dress"he closed the door gently

I wore my clothes with haste and walked downstairs to see Liam waiting patiently for me

"Sorry for taking long"I tucked a loss hair behind my hair

"You're forgiven...now let's go"

He opened the door to the car for me

He sat on the drivers seat while I sat next to him

"So Tina do you live here?"he asked as he ignited the engine of the car

"Not really just here to visit"I answered

The drive to the penthouse was awfully quiet

I alighted from the car and walked in the penthouse with Liam trailing behind me

"Oh my goodness!"nanny rushed to hug me

I hugged her back warmly

"What happened Tina?...why didn't you return home last night?...do you know how worried I was about you...are you okay?...is any where hurting?"nanny bombarded me with questions

"Nanny"

"Am fine...and am sorry for not calling you last night"I apologise and pecked her cheeks

"It's okay..but don't do it again"she warned

"Oh Liam...what are you doing here?"

"Just came to check up on you"he replied

I sat down on the sofa next to Liam

"Well you're just In time for breakfast"

I watched keenly as she walked into the dinning room

"Thanks once more Liam"

"Tina stop thanking me"he cupped my hands in his

I stared into his ocean blue eyes reaching to touch his face

He leaned closer to me ...our lips almost touching

We we're at the verge of kissing when nanny walked In

"Breakpoint i_...oh my "I shifted quickly from him

"Breakfast is ready"she folded her arms under her breast giving me a knowing smile

"Excuse me"I walked quickly to the dining

Nanny and Liam walked in almost immediately

We ate our meals in slience

"Thanks for the meal aunty...I'll be on my way now"

"I'll see you off"I said quickly

We both walked to where he parked his car

"So ...will see tomorrow"

"Yeah tomorrow"

"Okay then.. bye"he opened the car door about to enter

"Uh... Liam"

"Yeah"

I pecked his cheeks and rushed Inside

I closed the door and turned only to find Nanny staring at me

"What is it?"

"Nothing ... nothing"she smiled non stop

"I'll be in my room"I rushed upstairs to my room

2 weeks later.....

"So you're seriously going to leave me?"Liam asked 

I laughed seeing the look on his face

"Of course not...and asides that my place isn't that far"

"Okay "he muttered about leaving

I dragged him by the arm

I placed a quick kiss on his lips looking his eyes

"Don't get mad okay"

"Okay sugar lips"

"Let me take you home"I entangled his hands in mine as we both walked home

Me and Liam kissed each other good bye and went our separate ways

"C'mon Tina.. you're late"nanny complained

"Am sorry nanny ...let's go "I helped dragged our luggages into the boot of the car

Nanny fasten her seat belt and so did I

We're going back home

Penny POV

"Max stop"he ignored me and kept kissing my nape

He sat on the couch in the living room while I sat down his thighs

Since the last two weeks... we've got to know each other more

Our likes and dislikes and so many things

We we're so caught up in our romance we didn't notice the door being opened

"Sweetheart stay still"Max said

"Sweetheart?"

That voice

I turned around abruptly only to see Nanny and Tina
