ELSA’S POV:
"Now, it's my turn," he whispered, guiding my hands towards his hard bulge, its length surprisingly long. A bang on the door got both of us scattering to our feet. “Ezekiel, you better come out.” Chris's voice was low, and his tone was laced with warning. I suddenly felt so bad for Ezekiel. Regardless of my deep resentment towards him and his family, I wanted nothing more than to make him as happy as he had made me. It's not news anymore that my body and soul seemingly disagree with my head whenever I find myself in Ezekiel's presence. “I will leave first.” He said, the desires in his eyes coursed through the tone of his voice. I nodded and watched him leave. After a while, I adjusted my gown, breathed in, and walked out like nothing had happened. I met Chris along the corridor with a warm smile on his face. It looked like the party was over. “He is waiting for you in the car,” he mouthed, the warm smile still lingering in his face. Brushing a strand of my hair past my ear, I returned the smile before walking away. “Don't worry, your secret is safe with me.” He yelled after me, chuckling delightfully. A blush graced my face before it slipped away. “Thanks,” I whispered more to myself than to him. My moment of fun was over today. Tomorrow, I’ll go again. Though at this rate, by the end of the week, I might have Ezekiel in the palm of my hand. ********* I jolted awake with my body drenched in cold water and an angry face staring down at me. "You're still sleeping, b!tch?!" Rue roared on top of her voice, her eyes burning with so much rage. My eyes flew to the wall clock, which read 5 a.m. I didn't realize I was going to wake up by this time. "It's too early, ma'am." I mouthed, rubbing my eyes as a yawn escaped past my mouth. Before I could gather my thoughts, a slap had grazed my face, which sent me staggering to my feet. “Stupid drugs!” I screamed internally, blaming the godforsaken drugs I had been shoving down my throat. Not only does it make me an omega, it saps my strength, making me entirely defenseless against attacks like this. The stinking pain on my slapped cheek left me disoriented for about 30 seconds. “Get my damn coffee and make it snappy,” she grumbled and stomped away. “I'm not your maid, b!tch.” I growled, clenching my fist tightly enough. After taking a couple breaths, I left to make her coffee. Only if she knows that, according to the norm, she is no match for me. “Stupid girl,” I kept muttering while I took the coffee to her. “Mama, you don't worry; I'm fine. Alpha Nathan and Luna Isabella are taking care of me.” I heard Rue speaking on the phone. Since I didn't want to interrupt her conversation, I stood outside her door and listened. “Zeke and I haven't been having the best relationship, but I'm sure we will be fine in no time.” She said that, and I heard a sound of pacing. “Yeah, Mama. I know that, bye.” She ended the call, and I pushed the door open without knocking. Without looking at me, Rue grabbed the mug and emptied its content on my body. A shocking gasp left my mouth. My eyes grew wide open as I tried to ascertain why she had done that. “Next time you walk into my room without a knock, I will shove a burning coal into your ass.” She threatened and sent me flying across the wall. She strolled to where I lay, groaning on the floor, and crouched down before me, fires of glare shooting out of her eyes as she grabbed a handful of my hair. I wriggled in pain, trying to loosen her grip on my hair. “Zeke might be your knight in shining armor, but I'm your nemesis. I will deal with you anytime, any day, regardless of who is on your side.” She declaimed, staring right into my eyes, and afterwards, she pushed me. Unfortunately for me, I had my head hit against her bedpost, which caused me to slide back to the ground. “Now go make me another coffee." She demanded and got on the bed. I winced in pain as I got to my feet and made my way out of her room. A few minutes later, I was back with another freshly made cup of coffee for her. I had so much to say, complain about, or even throw tantrums, but I could only growl in silence, waiting for the day I would take my pound of fresh. "Get back here, b!tch!" I sighed and turned to her, waiting to see why she had stopped me from leaving. "Go wait by the corner. You are waiting on me today." She ordered and pointed at the far corner of the room. "With all due respect, Ms. Rue, I'm not your personal maid." I grumpled, trying to tame my temper. "My man is your master, and since he isn't around, you'll wait on me." She explained and took a sip of the coffee before setting the mug on the side table. My brows rose. "Alpha Heir is not around." I was surprised to hear he wasn't around. We returned pretty late last night; where could he have gone, and why didn't I know about it? "Oh, you think because you're his personal maid, you are to know his every move?" A hint of mockery was laced into her tone. "No, Ma'am." I mumbled and forced my head down in a bow. "Good!" She exclaimed. "Spoilt brat," I cursed under my breath as the room fell silent. She snuggled into her duvet with a smirk pulled up at the corner of her lips. I couldn't remember how long I waited on her, but it was long enough to get me sleeping on my feet. Luckily for me, I opened my eyes before she did. I helped her through the morning. Running her bath, making breakfast for her, and arranging her bed chamber. Then I proceeded to clean Ezekiel's bed chamber as well. By the time I was done, it was mid-day. Reaching my quarters, I collapsed on the bed, feeling bone tired. Not long enough, the door opened, and right at the entrance of the room was Alpha Nathan, glaring down at me with so much fury. “Seize her!” He declared and turned on his heels.ELSA'S POV:I had no idea what I had done, but it was pretty bad to get Alpha Nathan coming to my quarters and ordering that I should be dragged out in the field. With a little thud, the guards that had seized me let go of me, and I hit my butt so hard on the rocky ground. All the servants had gathered, and in the midst of the crowd was Rue smirking at me, and I had a feeling that my predicament had everything to do with her."Whip her until she has no legs to walk." Alpha Nathan commanded and turned to leave when I spoke up. "Please, sir, what did I do?" I needed to know what my offense was.He stared down at me with a begrudged look and said, "Your only crime was existing." His tone was so cold that I could feel the chills emanating from him.Swallowing hard, I watched him leave and got ready to be flogged. The guard on my right raised his hand, about to hit me, when I caught sight of a man in the crowd. He was in all black, with his face hidden in the shadows. I blinked twice, an
THE MASKED MAN’S POVI sat bored, staring at the man before me, wriggled in pain. He was missing four fingers in his right hand, all thanks to me."No matter what you do to me, I won't say a word," he groaned, his voice raspy and cracked. His face was puffy and swollen. Blood trickled from his lips and nostrils.I gave an evil smirk through my mask. "Not like I give a damn about you though, but for the sake of this matter, you are going to talk, or I’ll make sure to kill your entire family before your very eyes." I threatened him with my lips pulled up in a smirk. His jaw dropped slightly. "You will never get away with that." He coughed, blood splattering on my boots. "Well, you will see." I said casually, my smile gone. I stood up, adjusting my long black coat."If you're not going to talk, by the time my men are done with you, you will spill everything." I smirked and turned to my men. "Make sure he talks."I headed towards the entrance of the underground. I hadn't made it far when
ELSA'S POV: With a groan, I flipped over to my side and trembled violently at the sudden headache I was feeling. The sunlight filtered in through the small gaps between the slats of the blinds into the room, blinding me momentarily.I hissed in pain and propped up my shoulders."Someone's awake." Mina's voice startled me. I didn't even realize anyone was in the room with me."What happened?" I groaned again."You passed out after drinking some water yesterday night," she replied, studying me briefly. "That's all I know. The pack doctor only mentioned the problem to the Alpha." She explained.I bit my lips in deep concentration, trying to figure out what had happened, but the memory of last night was all foggy. I gave up after many attempts with no success."Hmm," I hummed in response and I got my ass off the bed. A scent whizzed past my nose, and I inhaled deeply, trying to identify it. "Why are you sniffing the air?" Mina questioned, her brows furrowed in confusion.I looked at he
EZEKIEL'S POV:"Ezekiel?" Father's voice echoed, resonating with the walls of my bed chambers. Elsa looked like she was going to pass out."Behave as if you're buttoning my shirt," I whispered quickly. Luckily, my shirt was half-buttoned down. She caught on quickly and hurriedly did as she was told."Your maid is here." Father asked as he slowly approached me.With a small smile, I brushed Elsa aside and turned to Father."Yes. She was helping me with my buttons." I replied with ease, trying not to give myself away.Father acknowledged what I said but had his gaze on Elsa for a while before clearing his throat."I need to talk to you in my study." He stated and casually walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.The moment we were left alone, Elsa breathed out shakily, patting her chest in the process."If your father finds out what we've been doing, I will be dead meat." She stated it as a matter of fact, and my heart sank in despair. My wolf growled lowly and went silent i
ELSA'S POV:I laid on the bed, counting the seconds, staring blankly at the ceiling. My mind was going back and forth.I couldn't seem to forget the look Alpha Nathan gave me when he was leaving Ezekiel's room. It was like he knew something."I just have to be careful," I mumbled, facing the wall. Restlessness of sorts suddenly set in, causing me to spring to my feet immediately.Quietly opening the door, I saw the long hallway empty, and I took a deep breath before closing the door and tip-toeing my way out. A breath of fresh air on my skin will do me some good.I made it past Rue's chambers but halted in my tracks as I heard voices coming from her bedroom. I knew it was bad to eavesdrop, but curiosity got the better of me."How come you're suddenly pregnant?" Ezekiel asked, and my heart twitched like I had been pierced with thousands of needles simultaneously. I felt faint.'RUE IS PREGNANT?'"You're not seriously asking me that question. You've forgotten how you shot your cum insid
ELSA'S POV:Nothing had changed in the past few days except that the security around the pack had been tightened. One of the new maids recruited was found dead at the border between the Blood Moon Pack and a neighboring pack. Alpha Nathan believes it's a war signal; however, he had sent words across, and the neighboring pack said they had nothing to do with the death of the maid. But still, he didn't take it lightly.Rue has been parading herself as the pack's future Luna. Her pregnancy had gotten to the ears of every single member of the Blood Moon Pack.I could say I have made quite a bit of progress with Ezekiel. He seemed to be wrapped around my fingers, ready to defend me.Sometimes I feel sorry for him, but after remembering what his father had done to mine, any pang of regret in my heart disappears. Sad to say, I haven't got anything on the Shadow Man or who wants me dead.My phone rang, disrupting my thoughts. Ezekiel looked up from his tap and stared at me before going back
ELSA'S POV:"Mr. Diago told us to do the job tonight," one person said, and another added, "Ezekiel needs to die ASAP."I felt a lump in my throat, and a cold shiver ran down my spine, making me feel nauseous."Don’t you think it would look too suspicious to kill him at the hunting grounds?" someone else said, breaking the tense silence.I looked around, unsure of what to do. I couldn’t run to Ezekiel and warn him that his so-called friends were plotting to kill him. Plus, I had no plan to stop them on my own."I think Dylan should get close to him, and then we can kill him in a less obvious way," the last voice suggested."We should go back to Mr. Diago and come up with a new plan," the first person said, and the others agreed."I need to at least see their faces," I thought, gathering my courage and taking a step forward. My body was shaking from fear, and I stumbled as I walked.A few steps later, I fell hard with a loud thud."Who's there?" One of them yelled, and my heart raced.
ELSA'S POV: Putting my suitcase to stop, I glanced up at the mighty white building before me, stunned by its height and beauty and the way it glowed in the afternoon sunlight. This was the house of Alpha Nathan, the Alpha of the Blood moon Pack. Disregarding the churning voice in my head, reminding me the reason I was right there at that moment, I let my excitement run wide. "Gracious good, I have landed myself a goldmine." I chuckled with delight and proceeded to knock on the big gate when it flew open and a Limo was about to be driven out. The car stopped right beside me and the window of the back seat wined down, revealing a face as handsome as no one's I'd seen before. My jaw dropped at his beauty and I was pretty sure my eyes were about to pop right out of their sockets. I didn't even notice my mouth gaping because holy shit, this guy looked like he belonged in one of those Greek myth paintings or something, except with better muscles, of course, and a body that made any
