The elder who stood before me was blabbing about the usual nonsense that had become his custom for the past two days reminding me that I only had three more days before they would choose a Luna for me.

I have never been more tempted to kill someone of high status. He may be a great elder but this was my pack, he was on my soil and I happened to be the Alpha who made the rules here.
