Frederick sat at the side and took another deep puff of his cigarette. Then, he calmly said, "It sure is exhausting every time I get rid of a drug's effect using energy to massage someone."

If the drug stayed in the body for too long, it would be bad for the body. However, he had a wife, and he couldn't use the most primitive way to eliminate the effects on Ivy. So, he had no choice but to massage it out of her using some energy.

After he was done helping her, he was prepared to head home right away. Although he had nothing else in mind, it wouldn't be wise for a man and a woman to stay in the same room by themselves. He snuffed out the cigarette in an ashtray and stood up.

Suddenly, he felt dizzy, and he softly said to himself, "This is not good. I was already feeling weak after releasing the negative energy today. Now, I'm feeling extremely weak after using my energy to help Ivy get rid of the drug in her system."

Soon after that, he could feel his consciousness getting blurrier.
