After devouring the very spicy food, I washed up the dishes and went to the room to sleep. I could hear Dominic and Sadie laughing from upstairs and I wondered if they were laughing at me. The following morning, I woke up to my phone vibrating, seeing numerous missed calls from the same number that called me the previous night.
