She Stole From Me

Dave and Dino had to leave the packhouse early in the morning, while Zenny was still sleeping. They had to spurt out to Elite city after Dave received an urgent call from the leader of the Zenith Company.

They didn't know the real reason behind the sudden call, but they decided to give it a trial, and whatever the outcome is, they will deal with it later.

Before stopping out of the pack, Dave made sure that Zenny has everything she needs. he also got the nanny to stay with her, while he was away since he wasn't sure if he will be back before twilight. Zenny gets scared of the dark when she is all alone, to avert that from happening again, he got the nanny ready, while he took his shower.

“ You can get all the items, you will needing ready while, I seize the opportunity to take my bathe” he instructed gently, trying not to wake Denny up from her sleep

Subsequently, he went into the bathroom, and the nanny went over to the kitchen to get the food. She measures the counts of her steps as she walked carefully along the dimly flickered hallway.

Dave quickly took his bath came out of the bathroom, and headed to the dressing room, he hadn't had the time to use his dressing room in a long time, and also when he came back home a few days before, the room was clustered with different types of things, including water and he had to sleep in the guest room. Now he looks at himself, in the reflector, when he was satisfied with his looks he stepped out of the room, brushing his hand against his temple.

He moved over to the bed and plaster a kiss on her forehead, just then, he heard a soft knock on the door. 

The moment, he opened the door, the nanny stretches forward a cup of coffee right in front of his face and had a disapproving look on his face.

“not again nanny ”he states, moving backward, but she grabbed his hand, and put the cup as swiftly as she could, after she did that she laughs out heartily, and a tear escaped from the corner of her eyes, she quickly wiped them off, forcing a smile out.

“I had told you so many times to take good care of yourself, right? I won't be staying here with you forever, you know? She said nonchalantly, pushing the trolley into the room.

Dave was in a daze for a while, after nanny carlisa said that to him, he quickly snapped out of his daze and walk up to her, with the cup of coffee in his hand.

He dropped the cup on the table, then, grab the nanny's shoulders.

Nanny carlisa was busy, serving the food on the table, she didn't realize when Dave came close to her and held her shoulders gently. 

She raises her eyes to look at him, but his next action left her in shock.

Dave moved her lean body towards him and engulfed her in a warm embrace, she was stunned beyond doubt, she couldn't believe that the Alpha could see through her pains.

The hug lasted for a few minutes,  , She quickly came back to her sense, then she lifted her head away from his chest, and disengaged the hug. She wipes the tears streaming down her cheeks with the back of her hand while feeling a little bit shy about everything that happened just now.

“Sorry about that Alpha Dave,” she said, wiping her tears and trying to concentrate on dishing the food.

“here have this,” she said giving him a plate, “you need to hurry up, otherwise you will be late for your meetings ”She urges bring him back to reality.

Dave has been staring intently at her, after they disengaged from the hug, he couldn't understand why nanny carlisa acted that way earlier. 

She has been around him, all his life but he has never seen her this weak and broken before. 

He wanted to press further and find out what the matter is, but her eerie voice cut through his thoughts, then he checked his wristwatch, and realize how fast the time has been fast spent. 

He took his jacket from the bed, finding his way to the entry, but nanny Carlisa held him back, just as he was about to step out the door.

“here, you should take this along with you,” she said calmly handling him a pack of fruits. He made to leave again, but she called out to him with a sad tone.

“Take care of yourself, Alpha, the goddess will be with you ”She prays for him.

After watching her do whatever she wanted to, he left with large strides, checking on his wristwatch as he passes through the hallway.

“How did I get so late on such an important occasion, I can't believe this '' he mutters, walking as fast as he could.

Manny Carlisa slammed the door, the moment Dave stepped out, she leans onto the door and started crying bitterly, she sobbed painfully, using her hand to cover her mouth to avoid waiting for Denny.

She cried out painfully, with her back against the door.

Melinda was coming out of her room, attempting to go in search of Domingo, when she suddenly saw Dave scooting out of the house with large strides, she retreated and hide behind the wall, to avert being seen. After Dave left, she came out of her hiding placing a sinister smile on her face.

She stood at the spot, fondling with her hair, thinking of what to do, then a glimmer of an idea came into her mind, and she smiled viciously.

She heads back to her room, leaving whatever she had planned to do incomplete. She enters the room and slammed the door.

After crying her heart out, and she felt better about whatever is happening to her. Nanny Carlisa went into the bathroom groggily.

Although She wasn't allowed to use the Alpha's bathroom she had no choice since she was told not to leave Zenny all alone, moreover, Dave gave her the authority to use his bathroom so that she would be close to Zenny at all times. 

Minutes later, she came out of the bathroom, walking haggardly to where she kept her clothes. She got dressed and got busy cleaning the room.

After she finished with all the chores, she went to lay down with Denny stroking her hair, while she sleeps. 

While tugging Zenny, she fell into a deep snooze.

It's was already past 7, when the alarm went off, and nanny Carlisa jerked out of bed fearfully, she went to turn off the alarm. Then proceed to wake Denny up, but when she bent to tap her lightly, she saw her blue eyes glaring at her, with no form of emotion.

“Good morning”, Zenny said calmly, more like she was whispering, while standing up from the bed and  rubbing her eyes with the back of her palm

Nanny carlisa was flabbergasted when she heard what Zenny said, she swerves her head in different directions trying to confirm if she had heard her wrong.  however, if she wasn't wrong then, She wanted to pressurize her to say it once again, but the thought of that leading to a panic attack made her change her mind.

She stares as Zenny got out of the bed, without being instructed, she began to make the bed. She cleared up everything, while Nanny Carlisa looked on, with her mouth wide open, she couldn't believe that Zenny was behaving this way, after weeks of being silent and trampled on. 

She wanted to shout out loud, but she held her breath and kept her cool.

After they were done with arranging the room, they headed to the bathroom, Zenny took her bath and came out, with a towel draped around her. Nanny carlisa helped her dress up, after that, she ate her breakfast, with haste, nanny carlisa was scared that she was going to choke if she continues to eat in that manner, but she didn't care about all of that, she ate everything and raise her hands in the air.

She looks cute with this act on, her expression right now is that of a cute little child, and nanny carlisa couldn't help but smile sheepishly.

Nanny carlisa help Denny to weave her hair, and they had so much fun playing around the room.

“you can't catch me!!! try to catch me nanny ”Zenny shouts excitedly running around the room, she was laughing hysterically while running. Nanny carlisa ran after her, in an attempt to catch her. She drops occasionally to catch her breath since she gets tired easily, whenever she runs.

While they were busy playing, a loud and clear knock landed on the door, causing them to stop in their tracks.

They had a look of horror on their faces, nanny carlisa couldn't help but wonder, who could come to the Alpha's room at this time of the day. She thought about it for a while, then she went to open the door.

“Nanny Carlisa, the queen wants you in her chambers right," Harriet said, immediately nanny carlisa opened up the door.

“Tell her, I will come as soon as the Alpha returns, but now I have to watched over zenny” she replied, turning back to look at zenny, who had coiled herself at a corner.

“The queen doesn't have the patience to wait until the Alpha returns” she yells at her rudely, rolling her eyes in disgust, “she wants me to tell you that, if you don't come over right now, then you will be responsible for the consequences” she yells, then swerve around and left with large strides.

Nanny Carlisa contemplated on what to do for a while, then she made up her mind to go, but not after giving Zenny a stern warning.

“Zenny, don't go out of this room, you won't go until I get back, do you hear me? She instructs caressing her back gently “Promise me you won't step out of this room until I come back!!! 

She instructs bringing her fingers forward for a pinky promise, after making the promise, Nanny Carlisa left the room, closing the door.

She didn't lock the door, since emergencies might occur and she would need to come out of the room.

“Aunt? My golden gem is missing, someone has stolen the gem ”Melina shrieks, descending from the stairs with tears in her eyes. her face has been drenched by her tears, she kept yelling and calling out to queen Naya as she descends the stair.

Queen Naya ran out of her room, the moment she heard Melina shouting.

“What is the matter with you, Melina? She asked rushing towards her, like a gush of wind.

“Someone has stolen the golden gem, that mom gave to me, that gem is very important to me, if I don't find it then z I might never become the future heir ”she cries pretentiously while explaining.

“You must have misplaced it somewhere, let us go and search for it ”queen Naya said, attempting to make a move.

“It's not there in my room,   aunt,  I have checked everywhere and everything, I couldn't find it in my room” she cries bitterly, after saying these.

Queen Naya had a confused look on her face, she was in a dilemma z knowing how important that gem is to Melina, she swung into action.

“Search every nook and cranny of the packhouse, make sure you search every room until you find that gem, otherwise, you will get it from me.

The maid searches the entire pack relentlessly, but they couldn't find it.

“Queen, we have searched everywhere and we couldn't find it, but there is only one room left to be scoured,” Harriet said, lowering her gaze, and her heart was beating faster.

“What room?” She squeals  

“The Alpha's room, my queen ” she utters and the gall became cold, everyone looked petrified.

“What are you waiting for, come on ” 

They went upstairs,  the maid opens the door and they all ventured in, as soon as they entered, they saw Denny holding a shiny gold gem.

They were stunned.

They cover their mouths with their hands, and no one said anything.

Melina raised her eyes and saw Zendaya holding the gem, she let out a shriek

“she stole my golden gem, she stole from me, she is nothing but a petty thief,” she said taking the gem from her.
