My breath caught in my throat. A crowd of people, no, werewolves, stood gathered below, their conversations silenced as they looked up at me. The suddenness of their attention caught me off guard and my heart skipped a beat.

Amidst the crowd, I recognized the familiar faces of Harleen and Harlan. The strangers’ eyes filled with a mix of surprise and curiosity. But the realization that I was the center of attention sent a shiver down my spine.

While I had known about the existence of werewolves, encountering so many at once was an overwhelming experience. When Harleen’s eyes met mine a warm smile spread across her face.

Amidst the crowd of male werewolves, Harleen and Harlan’s presence stood out, a beacon of familiarity in a sea of unfamiliar faces. Her smile was a comforting sight, “Sabrina! You’re finally awake!” She said in a usual energetic tone.

Harleen’s cheerful greeting broke the awkward silence that had settled over the room. Her enthusiasm was infectio
