Tristan’s POV

Tarrell drove me back home and made sure to be quiet all through the drive, looking at my temperament when I dashed out of Tanya’s apartment, he understood the message and knew I needed him to remain silent. He kept eyeing me through the rearview mirror hoping that I’d say something but I didn’t, I was too angry to talk.

“What happened there? Tarrell finally asked, earning a glare from me to him.

“Just keep quiet and drive.” I angrily responded.

“Sorry…” He said with his eyes rolling. Tarrell stepped on the accelerator and in no time, we were home. I stepped down from the car and walked inside still thinking about how he tried to touch my woman, my own woman. My heart was almost jumping out of my chest with absolute jealousy and anger.

“Oh, we had a bad day,” Adeline said, carefully reading my face. As I made no attempts to answer her, she looked further at Tarrell, her eyes screaming ‘what happened?’ Tarrell answered her in the same way by gesturing ‘I don’t know’ with
