Ives was now again in the dark prison alone. He was still feeling tired and dazing off as he was feeling tired to even open his eyes. He was braced from the tortures yesterday evening so he wasn't hurt much. Yesterday evening he was finally given some food and water for the next day execution. So, he had some energy to stay awake for his execution which was happening today. The prison guards entered inside the prison with a bucket of cold water. They splashed the whole bucket of water at Ives and gave him white clothes to put on. They also gave him a glass of water to drink and some food as if that was the last meal he would ever have. Ives ate hungrily. After eating, Ives wore that white clothes and then the guards tied his wrists with iron cuffs. He then started to move towards the place of execution with guards behind him. Every footstep he took, he was getting nearer to his death.
At the northern border. commander Wesley and commander Jean finally managed a breakthrough. They launched a surprise attack on those bandits who were supported by both the Southern kingdom and the traitor from inside the royal palace and after five hours of battle, they finally managed to capture their leader. Both sides had equal casualties. If not for the help of his highness, they might have lost the battle. Commander Wesley and Commander Jean just hoped his highness also had dealt with the traitor although they were still unsure who the traitor was. And now today, they were going back to the capital with the leader of bandits and the war prisoners. "Who do you think is the betrayer?" Commander Jean asked commander Wesley who was on the horse beside him. "I have a certain person in my mind." Commander Wesley said looking far away into nature.
All of them were looking at the boy as if they all were caught in a magic spell. They were all spellbound seeing the boy including the king and the queen of the Wallace. Although his whole body and head were bandaged, they could see the routine of his face. He was sleeping peacefully. He looked like a heavenly being because of his soft features. He looked like someone who need to be looked after well and pampered a lot. His pink lips were slightly parted making out light snores and steady breathing to make sure he was alive and well. While everyone was admiring the boy, Princess Rosanne's heart was thumping loudly. She was mesmerized or even hypnotized by him. Was this love at first sight? She had never felt this way before. She was absolutely smitten by this pretty stranger. She was always told she was the most beautiful but now looking at him there was the difference between
After Ives and Princess Rosanne's heartfelt confession, they both hugged each other tightly and leaned their face closer for a kiss. Both of their love was reciprocated and felt like they were the happiest person in the world right now. Both of their hearts were racing fast as their face grew closer and kissed each other closing their eyes. It was like a spark of joy for both of them feeling each other's soft lips on their own. After a kiss, they looked at each other smiling and blushing as they were embarrassed. It was Princess Rosanne's first kiss and she was glad it was with the person she loved the most. It was princess Isabel first love and first kiss. As for Ives, he somehow felt like that's not the way to kiss. It was too soft and tender. He felt like he used to kiss aggressively rather than that soft kiss but he was in c
"STOP THIS FUCKING MARRIAGE!!!" As soon as everyone heard the sound, all of them looked at the door in terror. They were all thinking the same thing. They were even more shocked when they found it was Prince Satchell who was stopping the royal marriage. "What is the prince thinking by interrupting his highness's marriage?"King Raleigh was also stunned listening to prince Satchell who was for the first time after so many years shouting at him but he still was looking at the door furiously. Lady Blaine was boiling with anger. Just a little more than she would have become the queen of the Raven kingdom. Her title from lady Blaine to queen Blaine was almost going to be changed until that voi
King Raleigh went to his study room and closed the door with a loud bang. Everyone left the wedding hall after he left the wedding hall. It was sure that marriage was never going to happen and a huge secret was revealed. Everyone was shocked seeing the true nature of lady Blaine who once they thought was a sweet and gentle lady whom they had greatly loved and admired as if their princess. The king and queen of Wallace were also shocked after hearing the truth. Seeing how deep conspiracies run in the palace and how Ives was used made them feel bad for Ives. But they also had never thought King Raleigh and Ives were lovers and was tortured to death by the orders of the king, his lover. The poor innocent boy was caught in between the palace politics. They were in confusion about whether to tell this truth to their daughter or not. Their daughter now loved Ive
The supposed court hall was now pin-drop silent. It was a huge gossip and news. King Raleigh silently stared at his so-called mother who was now dropping the tears. Why was his life like this? Is this how it feels to be betrayed? "I know you won't forgive me but at that time I thought killing him would be better. At least I won't have to see him constantly longing for someone. If I can't have his heart then why don't I kill him? It's that heart that will never beat for me so, I will just stop it from beating too." Empress Dowager Avon said looking at her son. King Raleigh sighed and said, "I don't have anything to say to you. Take her to the cold palace. She will be on house arrest for the rest of your life and your position from being the empress is seized. From today onwards, there will be only king in the Raven Kingdom." Empress Dowager got scared. What was cold palace? It was the place worst than t
6 MONTHS TIME SKIP It had already been six months since Lady Blaine, Lord Nedes and the bandit were executed. Six months since the beloved empress dowager Avon was home arrested and the Sherwood family was permanently banished from the capital. And six months since the truth about Ives was revealed in Raven kingdom and six months of hellish pain for the majestic king. Although the kingdom was still powerful...no even more powerful, one thing had drastically changed. It was his highness, Raleigh Kainz. Within those six months, his highness had gone from the nickname of a cold and ruthless king to a demon king. He always stayed alone and never made many public appearances since then. During morning and evening
King Raleigh had been travelling alone on his horse now for two weeks. He was searching for Ives everywhere he reached. He used to travel the whole day and rest at night. He would sometimes sleep in inns and sometimes outside. After getting tired for a whole day, he would sleep with the memories of Ives. The fact that Ives may be alive somewhere was keeping him going desperately. He was wearing normal black pants and a white shirt with a cravat. He wore a long cloak that hid his face so none could see his face and know he was the king. He travelled across rivers, hills, cities, towns but still couldn't get any signs of Ives. He used to ask every people he met but still, there was not any progress. It was always a failure. Sometimes fear kept welling from his heart thinking the god may not want him to meet Ives. Every night he used to have a nightmare of Ives being happy without him.
