Here is a new chapter. This one took me a while as I just wasn't happy with it and rewrote it several times and made so many changes. I hope you enjoy. Hopefully the next chapters will be easier as I work through this writer's block!! Also I have a new facebook author's page. Check it out and remember to leave gems!! Thank you!!
Logan POV She was absolutely beautiful. Logan watched Emma as she shifted into her wolf. He had never seen anything so beautiful. She was perfect. And almost as big as he was. The way she moved was so graceful and agile. And FAST. Emma left him and Dylan in the dust. He watched as she ran ahead of them until she was out of sight, he began to slightly worry even though they were still inside their territory, he didn’t like not being able to see he. He tried to mind link her, but nothing. He couldn’t get through to her which made him worry a little more. He started to howl trying to get Emma's attention and they eventually caught up to her. As they caught up to her though, she was turned and ready to attack. The growl that came from her made his chest swell with pride, even though she was growling at him. He shifted back and walked through the trees with his hands up. “Whoa, whoa! It’s just us.” he told her. Dylan walked up beside him. Logan noticed that Dylan was careful not to loo
Emma POV Emma couldn’t sleep. She kept having dreams of wolves attacking her pack and killing everyone, and she was helpless to stop it. All she could do was stand there, frozen, watching everyone in her pack die. The dreams were getting worse, more vivid, and changing. Now, in the middle of the wolves there was this one wolf that stood in the center of the rest. This wolf was solid red, the color of blood, its eyes were completely black. She had seen this wolf before. It was the same one that attacked her. She didn’t know what it was about this wolf, but it terrified her. She kept these dreams to herself. She didn’t want to tell Logan, he was already worried enough as it was. It was tearing her up not telling him, keeping this to herself has been a burden almost too heavy for her to carry. She needed to talk to someone, tell them what she was seeing. If her mother was right and she is actually having visions, she needed to warn the pack. If these dreams came true and she said nothi
Unknown POV Glass shattered against the wall. He was losing his patience. “Sir, she has been spotted alone out of the territory's fence. What do you want us to do?” He froze, could it really be? Finally. He will have her. He snapped his head around. “Get her, bring her to me. Don’t harm her.” “Yes sir.” The man walked away. He will have his queen at last. Logan POV Logan walked into his office, it was a mess. There was a body-shaped hole in the wall, broken pieces of shelves and books were scattered across the floor. He ran his fingers through his hair and let out a sigh. He walked around the desk and sat in the chair. There were two fist-shaped indentions in the desk. Emma was gone. Something was making her angry, he could feel it through the bond, feel the power behind it. She was definitely more than what either of them had realized. He had been trying to mind link her, but he couldn’t get through her block. “Alpha?” Adam’s voice came through his thoughts. He lo
Emma POV Emma could feel Logan trying to push through her mind block, but she kept him out. She blocked him through the bond as well. She couldn’t let him get through to her, she knew he was going to come after her, to try and find her, but she couldn’t let him. She had to do this alone, she didn’t know why, she just knew she had to. She could smell them around her, behind her. She could hear them following her. She hit the river and dived under and let the current take her downstream. When she couldn’t hold her breath anymore, she surfaced. She couldn’t smell them anymore. She climbed out of the river on the other side and took off. She had enough confidence in herself that they wouldn’t be able to catch her. She hit the clearing and kept running, hoping to get to the other side without them seeing her. In the middle of the clearing, she stopped in her tracks. She didn’t smell them until it was too late. They had her surrounded. In that moment she realized that they hadn’t been ch
Emma POV She slammed the door as she stormed out of Logan’s office. She refused to hear any more of Logan’s lecturing. She was tired and all she wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. She closed the bathroom door and turned on the water to as hot as she could stand it. Once the steam had clouded the bathroom, she climbed inside and let the water run over her body, the hot water relaxing her muscles. She sat down and pulled her knees to her chest, watching the water running off her go from red to clear as all the blood washed off. She didn’t know how long she sat there, but when the water turned cold, she finally stood up and turned off the water. She grabbed the towel and dried off before hanging it back up. She picked her clothes up off the floor and put them in the laundry basket. She walked out of the bathroom and into the closet and got some pajamas and put them on. Walking out of the closet, she noticed the tray of food sitting on the table. Grateful that she didn’t hav
Emma POV It was finally time for the next blue moon ceremony where she would ask the Moon Goddess to let Dylan be the Alpha of the Shadow Moon pack. So much had been planned for today, it was going to be just a big party. One that she really wasn’t in the mood for. She had been feeling a bit under the weather the past few days, she had been nauseous and tired all the time. She had gone to the doctor this morning and they took some blood to run tests. The doctor said that he should have the results by the end of the day. Logan had bought her dresses to wear for each ceremony, but she just wasn’t up to getting dressed up. She decided she would just wear regular clothes, something she would be comfortable in. She just didn’t have the energy to care about it. She was sure that the Moon Goddess wouldn’t care what she was wearing tonight. She was nervous about having the whole pack in one place tonight. If someone was going to attack, tonight would be the perfect opportunity. She wante
Emma POVThe phone hit the floor as it slipped out of her hand. No. She thought. Not yet.She had been finally sleeping peacefully when the phone ringing woke her up. It was the nurse from the doctor’s office letting her know the results from
Emma POV They stood under the moonlight, surrounded by their family, waiting for the blue moon to reach its highest peak. Once it did, she would make her plea to the Moon Goddess. It was more important now than ever for this to work. She needed the Moon Goddess to let Dylan have her Alpha. They were supposed to shift after they prayed, but now that she is pregnant, it wouldn’t be safe for her to shift. They would stay in their human form for the entire ceremony, and she hoped that it would be enough. It was almost time, just a few more minutes. She could feel the energy from the moon, she couldn’t explain how, but she felt it. Emma took Dylan’s hands in hers and they looked up at the moon. It was time. Moon Goddess, hear our prayer. Please let Dylan have my Alpha so he can be the Alpha of Shadow Moon so I can be Luna of Silver Stone. You mated me with Logan for a reason, but I cannot be Alpha of Shadow Moon and Luna of Silver Stone. And now we are going to have a baby, so pleas

Alessio POV He stood on the rocks, watching the sun beginning to creep up over the horizon. Brilliant rays and hues of red and orange cascaded across the sky. Anger coursed through him. His blood was boiling. How did they not realize that she was pregnant before now? This changed everything. His whole plan was shot to shit now. The witch would be here at any moment. He needed her to take care of the problem, one way or another. He turned on his heel and headed towards the pier. He stood at the edge, watching the waves crashing against each other in the distance as the storm raged around them. The storm he felt inside of him, tearing him apart like he was a rickety wooden boat trying to weather a hurricane. On one side, it was calm, peaceful, bright. The other side was hell on earth. A storm that raged on for miles and miles with torrential rainfall that just left you cold and wet. A circle of light caught his attention. Small at first, growing bigger ever so slightly. His hear
Alessio POV “Don’t worry brother, they will pay for it. They wanted you to be their King so you would go to war for them. Then made ran us out of our home afterwards. They used us to fight a war that had nothing to do with us.” Sebastian said. “I wasn’t completely innocent. I let the power of being King go to my head. I liked the power of it.” Alessio said regretfully. “If they hadn’t involved us in their war, you would have never been King for it to go to your head.” Sebastian said. “It doesn’t matter, the past is the past and we can’t change it. All we can do now is look to our future.” Alessio said. Sebastian got up from his chair and walked over to Alessio and put his hand on Alessio’s shoulder. “Our future where we will be home.” Alessio covered Sebastian’s hand with his own. “Yes, we will be.” Alessio picked up his coffee and took a drink. As soon as he did, he spit it back out. Coffee spewed everywhere. It had gotten cold. “Glad I wasn’t still sitting in that cha
Alessio POV He woke to the sun shining through the windows. Rubbing the back of his hand over his eyes, wiping the sleep out of them, he sat up in the huge king-size bed. Emma was lying next to him, snoring softly. She still hadn’t woken up from the sedative, but it should be wearing off at any time. A low growl rumbled from his chest as he saw part of the mark on her neck, peeking out of the collar of her shirt. Soon it would be his mark on her neck instead. He swung his legs over the side of the bed and placed his bare feet on the cold wooden floor. He felt completely rested, he hadn’t slept this good in years. Today marked a new beginning for him and his pack. And his Queen. Today, they all began their new lives. He was excited to start the day, a feeling he hadn’t had in a long time. It felt good to feel something else besides anger and resentment. He still had those feelings, but they weren’t at the forefront anymore. He looked behind him at his sleeping Queen and he felt lik
Alessio POV Alessio leaned against the car, his patience wearing thin. He was anxious to be on the road. Where the fuck are you? He mind linked Sebastian, letting his impatience sound through his voice. Almost there, sir. Well hurry the fuck up. Yes, sir. Still leaning against the car, Alessio crossed his arms over his chest. His foot tapping, showing his aggravation, when finally, he seen his pack approaching. “About fucking time. Let’s go.” He snapped, tossing the bag of keys to Sebastian to distribute. “You ride with me.” He told Sebastian. “Yes, sir.” Sebastian said, nodding his head once. Alessio climbed in the driver’s seat and put the key in the ignition. The car purred to life. Only a few things in this life gave Alessio satisfaction, the sound of his favorite car’s engine was one of them. Once Sebastian climbed into the passenger seat and shut the door, he put the car in drive and pressed the gas pedal to the floor. The car sped off, gravel flying out fro
Alessio POV They had been hiding, watching, for two days now. Waiting. “Sir, something isn’t right.” Sebastian said. “I know.” he said curtly. They had watched the patrols go by all day yesterday, and today, not one single patrol. He didn’t need his Beta to tell him something that was obvious. “They know we are coming. They are pulling their guards back, they are getting ready to fight.” Alessio told him. “But how? How did they know we were coming?” Sebastian asked. “I don’t know. Cut the fence, let’s go.” Alessio commanded. “But sir-” Sebastian began. Alessio grabbed him up by his throat and squeezed. “If you value your life, you will do what the fuck I say and not question me again.” Alessio threw Sebastian against a tree. Sebastian landed on his knees, clutching his throat. Coughing and gasping for air. “Yes sir.” he said hoarsely. “Do it.” Sebastian said, turning to the guy holding the metal cutters. Once the hole was big enough, they crossed the fence and into Silv
Zara POV Zara sat in the upstairs office that Emma had claimed for her own. She was having a hard time believing the things Emma had told her. First, this Alessio guy was the one that had her parents killed, the one that has been after her ever since she was a kid. She had never known who it was behind the mercenaries, she just knew that there was someone that was funding them. They weren’t smart enough to know what they were chasing her for. Second, her grandmother was Emma’s grandmother’s sister. That was even harder to wrap her mind around than Alessio. Her grandmother’s name had in fact been Lola, and she talked about her sister, Lela, all the time before she passed. She talked about how much she had missed her, showed her the letters that her sister had written her, even though she had been forbidden to. Lela hadn’t cared that her parents didn’t like her sister’s mate, all she cared about was that her sister was happy. They never got to see each other, but they were at least
Emma POV She knew she should go back down to the party, she just couldn’t bring herself to. She didn’t want to have to plaster a fake smile on her face and pretend like everything was ok. She wanted to wallow in the pits of despair that consumed her. She spotted Alexis in the crowd and she felt her heart crack. A fresh wave of pain tore through her, fresh tears flowed from her eyes and down her face. She didn’t think that pit of despair could get any deeper, but it just did. She watched everyone party and having a good time. A pang of guilt hit her, they were here for her, to celebrate her, and she couldn’t even bring herself to face them. She knew she needed to climb out of this well she was drowning in, she just couldn’t get her first grip on the wall. The more she reached up, trying to get a hold of something to pull herself up, the more she slipped back down. She needed a lifeline, someone to throw down a rope for her. But this wasn’t something anyone could help her with, s
Emma POV “His brother?” Logan asked. “Yes, his brother. Alessio has two brothers. Sebastian and Marco. Alessio is the oldest, then Sebastian, then Marco. Sebastian is his Beta. Marco was his Gamma.” Evelyn explained. “Ah, shit.” Logan said. “You can bet your ass he will be coming on the next full moon. He would have felt Marco’s tether snap, and he will be coming for you. He won’t let his brother’s death slide.” Evelyn told them. “Alessio doesn’t care about anything but power, Sebastian, and Marco. He will want revenge, and he will do whatever it takes to get it.” “Happy Birthday to me.” Emma said sarcastically. “It’s your birthday?” Evelyn asked. Emma nodded. “Happy Birthday.” Evelyn told her. “Thank you.” Emma said and managed a weak smile. This was not how she imagined her birthday going. Emma’s chest was tight, and she was consumed with pure terror. She had been terrified enough before she found out this stuff, and now... Emma sighed. Evelyn told her to trust
