“Calm down, everything will work out.” Tristan took me back to the apartment and sat with me on the couch while I bawled like a baby.

“What if it doesn’t? Even if he isn’t found guilty, I have a bad feeling about him being in jail. It has been hours, and we still haven’t heard anything.” I sniffled a few times.

Tristan handed me a Kleenex, and I wiped my tears before blowing my nose. It took us almost thirty minutes to get away from the reporters. They were still downstairs, wanting to talk to me. If it weren’t for Tristan having the ability to command the people who worked for Dominic, I don’t know what I would have done.

“I have sent Lawyer Quinn to investigate what is going on. As soon as she learns something, she will inform us.”

“Doesn’t she just work for Fox Ink? How can she get involved with a criminal case?” I tossed the used tissue away and accepted another from Tristan.
