hey cupcakes, i'm waitting for the comments :)
Jenny’s POV “ Dad seemed to be taking things as it is….unlike me “ “ i don’t know if it’s his sudden change in health or him being silent most of the time….that is making me feel bad for him…..maybe both “ “ i know, things took a distratic turn and getting half body paralysed isn’t something easy to accept but, dad is doing…or trying to do fine in his part “ “ today i tried to make lasagna for the first time, i thought i’ll burn it….but thankfully it came pretty good and it was edible….plus dad’s loved it “ I giggled at the end of the sentence, as I stared at my mother’s cemetery. A sharp blow of wind passed through me. I took that as a response from my mother and smiled. This is how I've been communicating with her for the last many years. Sometimes, it would be a drop of rain, waves of winds or movements of trees around me. These things give me confidence to speak with her since I believe that she responds with some activity around me. I don’t know what this may look like,
Ryan’s POV It is getting colder and darker. leaves are falling from the trees. There is a chill in the air overnight, frost on the ground in the morning, mist and fog in the air. Dry, dead leaves crunch beneath my feet and clouds appear when I breathe out. There is still a lingering warmth but always a constant reminder of the cold to come. Removing the brown overcoat I kept it on the couch feeling my breathing turning into blurry dogs as I walked towards the kitchen. As usual, no one was there. No one is here except me. It’s one of my penthouses in Germany, even my mother doesn’t know about it because I never told her. This place is for me, to spend my loneliness and find my solace here. Though i rarely come here, but yet i’ve this place for myself. Where i can hide, from the rest of the world or should i say from her ? Pouring a glass of water for myself I walked out of the kitchen, gazing around feeling the intense silence present there. Sipping the water, slowly feeling it trav
Author’s pov Jenny breathed in relief as there was no one behind her, or around the room. Yet to make sure of that she scanned the room for one more time and finally when she didn’t find anything or anyone Jenny loosen up herself a bit. In a matter of few seconds her heart beats went high leaving her with few possible scenarios of someone breaking into her room. Now that she is sure there's no one except her She dropped the towel on the floor and got changed into night wear. She skipped dinner having no appetite since she had her lunch late today. It’s been a hard day for her and she desperately wants to hit the bed but she also has to analyse a few reports before she sleeps. Switching on her laptop Jenny was all set to dive into her work and just then, Sam’s name appears on the caller's ID gaining her all attention on it. She didn’t waste any second as she grabbed the phone from bed and slid up the answer button. “ hey, Sam “ she muttered, with an amusement while her eyes aut
Ryan’s POV “ Don’t try to be my mother, “ I snapped at her . “ then don’t act like a fucking kid “ she retorted back while she gritted her teeths at me out of annoyness. It’s been half an hour since she barged into my panthouse without any prior notice and now she wants me to return home. As if it’s that easy. After reading her mail I thought she might be trying to get a response from me with those empty threats. But the moment I saw her in the door security camera I knew she wasn’t joking anymore. Natasha is one hell of a woman, who exactly knows how to trap me down and at times it makes me infuriated that she takes such a right on me showing her authority. Even though I told her that it’s not possible for now, maybe I will think about it later. She is still stubborn to agree to that. Stubborn Woman. “ i’m not being a child Nandy, if you were in my place…you would know how difficult it is …'' I couldn’t keep my tone lower, because her constant advice on how I should face my pr
Author’s POV “ Maya…come inside….it’s getting cold out there “ Asher yelled as he was changing the bedsheets of their bedroom and Maya was standing on the balcony, gazing up at the deep blue sky. She wasn’t sure at what she was staring but she liked to stand outside on the balcony and let her eyes roam around the city and up at the navy blue sky that was filled with uncountable twinkling stars and ever silver moon. Looking down she saw the rushful vehicles headlights outshining everything else around it. Street lights shone giving her more clear picture of the view. It’s passed eleven of night and yet people out there were in rush. She wondered what could be a possible reason for peoples to rush at this hours of night where serenity is all matted. Going back to the time, she recalled how her parents used to make her sleep before eight at night saying night time is the most dangerous time of the day and if one didn’t sleep during those hours then the devil would hunt them. She
Jenny’s POV “ you think this will fix everything ?” i didn’t want to disrespect my dad but the voice tone that came out would surely do. “ i would….No….i can’t Dad… “ rubbing my wet palms on my thighs over the dress i was wearing, i gazed at him for a good few seconds to make sure if he is really serious about what he is talking right now. Because, I don't think he gave this idea a serious thought before disclosing it to me now. He was half lying and half sitting on the bed with his head resting on the headrest of the bed while his lower body was lying on the bed, covered with a grey duvet that matched with the classy black bed sheet and pillows. His right arm was placed on the large pillow beside him as he can’t move that hand at all, his other hand was free and totally moveable. The right side body paralysis has binded him to the bed for the last few weeks. Mr. Kai had strictly restricted him from straining his body or brain since he needs a lot of rest. A minute passed and i
Author’s POV You’ll never know what’s stored for you unless you turn the next page of your life. Sitting in a cafe waiting for Ryan to show up Jenny looked around her surroundings impatiently. The evening sun rays bloomed every dull thing into bright and golden shades while she was twirling a strand of her hair sucking her lower lips being tetchy about the sudden events of her life. The warmth in the environment couldn’t help the shiver of her inner self. She felt sitting there, eagerly looking at the entrance of the cafe to catch the glimpse of Ryan, after one and half months of not seeing him at all. She could believe how in the hell everything is happening in a sync when it should not be. The back to back two unexpected events happening in the same day is beyond her beliefs. Little did she know her dad was aware of her building relationship with Ryan but never ever she thought that he would be so sure about it that he will end up fixing her marriage with him, before she cou
Author’s POV “ but you can’t force him or me….you know that right ?” Jenny stood straight, suppressing the resentment inside her while she clenched her jaw out of frustration. “ Actually I can.. “ came her father’s calm yet the condourness was evident in his tone. “ Dad…” she yelled, not being able to control herself anymore. For the last three days she has been trying to make him understand the seriousness of the situation he is creating but Mr.Oberoi seemed turned deaf to her. Jenny left the last hope of getting Ryan back from their last conversation in the coffee shop. When he said he can’t marry her, it was enough for her to know that he’s clearly not into marriage and commitments for now or maybe forever. From the moment her father began this ‘marriage is solution for everything topic’ she have been saying no in many languages because she knows that marriage comes with package of responsibility and promises that she isn’t ready for yet But, not even once she ever though
