LUNA POV

I was so shocked. My body froze. The light in my room was close. I can only see his figure with the help of the moonlight coming from my window.

"Who are you?" my voice is trembling.

I cannot move. I froze where I was standing.

He slowly walked closer. I cannot see his face completely but I know he was handsome. He has a muscular and well-defined body shape. 

His fingers started tracing my cheeks to my lips. His face is closer now. 

"I've searched for you, now I finally found you." his husky voice made me shiver. 

I need to run away from him but my body doesn't want to move. It is as if, he has full control over my body. I started to feel a different kind of sensation as he started to touch my waist.

My phone vibrates again. It was Mr. Miller, Elli's dad. Let me guess, Mr. Miller will ask me if her daughter was here. For sure, my beloved frenny failed to go home last night. Well, she often sleeps in her boyfriend's house. 

"Hello, Mr. Miller" 

"Luna, good morning" his voice is shaky.

"Luna, I can't contact Elli, her phone is out of reach. Do you know her location?" I can sense that he is worried now.

"I am sorry Mr. Miller, the last time I saw Elli was yesterday in the public library, but don't you worry, I will try to call her too. I will give you a heads up if I find her".

"Thank you, Luna, Please do" as he cuts the line. I composed myself.

I tried to call her but cannot be reached. Where the hell is she?

"Lian, this is Luna. Have you seen Elli? Her dad was worried as hell. We can't contact her," I told Lian her classmate.

"Sorry Luna, I haven't seen her," Lian replied. 

I tried to text her other friends while having my coffee and cookies for the morning but none of them have any idea where she is. 

I tried to look into her social media account but there was no update and she is offline now.

I found Damon's number but his phone is off. I rubbed my temple. This woman is giving me a real headache.

I reached for my towel and decided to take a shower. I think I need to calm myself. As the water started to flow and my body turns wet, I remember last night's dream. That was crazy. And I can’t get over it.

I finished the shower and pull some clothes from the closet. I combed my hair and put a little lipstick on my lips.

I get my sling bag, gave Peebee a hug then I decided to go on a search for my alien best friend. 

The weather was good today and the

sky was covered by opaque clouds. I looked around the street as I felt that unfamiliar feeling again. I can feel someone is looking at me. I saw an old lady from the neighborhood with her dog. Maybe I am just paranoid.  

While on a taxicab, my phone suddenly rang. It was an unknown number. Oh my, I think it was Elli. Finally, she remembers calling me. I am getting insane. I immediately answered the phone. The first thing I wanted to do was to scold her. I and her dad were worriedly sick of her. 

"Hi Elli, where are you? We are looking for you," I almost shouted. To my surprise, it is a man talking to the other line.

"Oh, Looking for Elli ha" he laughed.

"I will text you the address, come here alone, or else something bad will happen to her" his voice is deep.

Then he ends the call. My hands are trembling in fear. 

"Did they kidnap my best friend?"
