Chapter 3

The venue of our retreat was held at a private resort, It has a beach and a space where we can build our tent.

‘Over the beautiful moon’

That was the name of the resort. It was familiar.

“Do you know the owner of the resort?” I asked Beau

“Nah. Why?”

“The name was kinda familiar.” I said, “Maybe because it has the same meaning as my name.

My name means moon, Altalune is a Latin name that means ‘Over the moon’  and Mizuki, is Japanese means beautiful moon.”

“You’re really beautiful as the moon. No wonder.” He said, he looked so amazed hearing the story of my name.

“Welcome to Over The Beautiful Moon resort! I am your tour guide for this day. I am so happy to welcome you to our paradise, I hope you enjoy your stay.” The tour guide smiled. “Business Ad department and Industrial Arts, you will be together. You can choose a partner.”

“Uhmm, Beau.” My block mate called “Can we become a partner?”

“No, Alta is my partner. I'm sorry.” Beau apologized

My block mate leaves as if she were embarrassed.

“You’re making your own decision,” I smirked

We sat on a bench near the beach and started eating the foods we prepared. “Thanks for bringing food.”

“No problem.” I sighed, “You know what? I have a feeling that the owner of this resort is related to me. I don't want to assume but I have a gut.”

“Come here.” He pulled me near him and, He hugged me

I don't want to lie but I feel comfort through his hug.

“If you’re done eating come back here, we will be having our first activity.” Personnel from our school said

We went closer to the school personnel. Beau was approached by two men, probably his friends.

“Our dude here is in love.” The man wearing a maroon shirt said.

“Shut up, Brosiah.” Beau said “Alta, here are my friends. This is Brosiah.” He pointed to the man wearing the maroon shirt “And this is Amexauris. Just call him Amex” He then pointed to the man wearing the blue shirt.

Amex offered his hand to shake hands, I was about to offer my hand as well but Beau held my hand.

“You can introduce yourself without touching her hands.” He said to Amex

Amex and Brosiah laughed so hard. “Oh no.. he’s in love.”

“Come her Alta,” Beau called “Let’s leave them here.”

We left his friends and just focused on what will be doing on today’s activity.

Today’s activity is painting, every pair will have 2 canvases, every 15 minutes until 1 hour you will need to exchange your canvas with your partner and let them add a design.

The first thing I did on my canvas is I painted blue, just like in the sea.

When it's already time, I exchanged my canvas with Beau, he painted a night scenery.

I decided to put a moon.

We just exchange and exchanged our canvas until the time has come.

The result of my painting was a sea with a woman and a man facing the sea.

Beau's is painting was his night scenery with a man looking at the moon.

“Every pair needs to explain their works! And you can ask them after” The personnel happily announced “Let’s start with the pair with the most beautiful and the most handsome students I saw. Beau and Alta.”

Why are we the first?

Beau and I went to the front and showed our painting.

“So we need an explanation.”

Beau started first “Uh Here’s my painting, I made the night scenery first and she just added the moon, I did the rest.” He laughed “The Man looking at the moon is me, and she is my moon. I am the person who is ready to look at no matter how far and high she is.”

I didn't know that was the meaning of his painting. I definitely can't paint my face anymore.

“Aww...” they all reacted

“How about your Alta?”

“I don’t know the meaning.” I started “I just drew the sea at first, I didn't paint the next ones. You can ask Beau about this.” I laughed

“The man and woman were me and her.” He said “No explanation.”

“THAT’S MAH BOY!” Brosiah shouted

The people laughed

“The meaning is fascinating!” A school admin said “Any questions about them?”

“Me, I have a question.” It was from his department I guess? “Are you two dating?”

“No.” We both answered

“Then.. why are you acting sweet to each other?”

“He’s just a flirt,” I answered

“Oh is it?” He laughed sarcastically

We went back to our seats and watched other people explain there’s.

After the first activity, they let us rest for about an hour and build our tent. Since Stenzie couldn’t be here, I will sleep alone.

It’s 5 pm when I went out of my tent, a good thing Beau didn’t bother me anymore when I started to rest. Our tent was just beside each other’s so I know that he also takes his time to rest.

“Hi.” I yawned

“TSS.” He just said and ignored me

What happened to this guy? Nevermind

I ignored him too, my pride is higher than Mount Everest, If you don’t talk to me, then I won’t either.

I saw Brosiah and Amex in front of me. They look like they are laughing.

“Hey.” I called them “What’s wrong with your friend?”

“Huh? Beau?” Amex asked, “What happened?”

“Well... I greeted him. But he ignored me.” I chuckled

“He just said ‘tss’ and walked away.” I imitated what Beau said earlier

Brosh laughed “Did you do something that can make him jealous?”

“Of course not, why would I?”

He laughed again, “I have a way that I know will work.”

“What?” I curiously asked

He put his hand on my shoulder “This is the way.” He said, I got shocked but I let him, so I could see Beau’s reaction.

Amex laughed so hard “Beau!” But he still managed to shout “Look at Brosiah!”

Beau was running fast towards our direction, he immediately pulls Brosiah’s hand on my shoulder. He looked intensely at Brosiah but the two were just laughing.

Beau looked at me, he cupped my face and put my face closer to his, he kissed me with passion and held my waist to put me more closer to him.

“Don’t let another man touched you, I may not be able to get easy the next time.” He whispered

In a sudden shock and embarrassment, I hid my face on his chest. He kissed me in front of other people.

Amex and Brosiah were also shocked at what happened.

“Don’t make me jealous again, you wouldn’t like what will I do next.” He smirked
