Chapter 50

Clarissa POV

It's the weekend today, and since we won't be going to the office, we stayed back at home. Miguel left very early in the morning and told me he was going to attend to something important, and up until now, he is yet to come back. It's just 11am though.

After the incident yesterday, I've made up my mind to spend some time here with him and see if anything changes. When he was by my side yesterday, I didn't have that weird dream again nor did I have any fear. I'm scared I will be attacked again if I go home, and this time, I may not be able to survive it.

After I have my bath, I head downstairs to join Charity, since she is there, writing her book. As expected, I find her sitting on one of the couches when I get to the living room, as if it's her house. I wonder how she manages to get so comfortable here when it's not even her house or her boyfriend's house.
