Episode One : Run Into A Little Girl

The Following Week.

Scarlet and the girls arrived at B City's international airport terminal.

Finally, after seven years, Scarlet returned to B city.

They exited the foyer after getting off the aircraft. Ella simultaneously tugged on Scarlet's dress' side and pointed at an ice cream stand.

"I want ice cream, please, Mommy."

Scarlet made the "OK." sign.

" let's go get some."

She shook Mila's hair with her hand.

Mila began to shake violently at once.

"halt it, Mommy. I don't want my hair to look messy, Mommy."

Scarlet led the group to the ice cream shop with a smile on her face.

In the meantime, Scarlet stood behind Ella and Mila as they patiently waited for the man to hand them the ice cream. They've arrived in B city, so she made the decision to message Simon to let him know.

A recognisable voice suddenly rang out.

"Bastards. What use would you say you are on the off chance that you couldn't complete such a simple task as watching out for a young girl, so many of you?"

The man's voice was musical, deep, and rich, with a hint of rage. It was deafening to the ears.

Scarlet's hands immediately stopped writing on her phone, which they had been doing earlier.

She hadn't heard this voice in seven years, but she actually thought it was startlingly familiar.

Scarlet noticed the tall figure from a distance as she peered into.

A tall man was standing not far away. His blue suit enhanced the length of his legs and gave him a more polished appearance. He was indeed attractive, even among the group.

From her vantage point, Scarlet could see his ideal side figure.

Many people were envious of his tall physique and sharp highlights. In actuality, other men were unable to compete with him because of how attractive he was.

I'm talking about Jared Blakemore.

Scarlet heart clenched at his sight.

She mistrusted herself into believing that she was ready to face her past. Unprepared, she was.

She had no idea she would run into him when she arrived in B city for the first time.

She briefly experienced some of the feelings she had been holding in the past, but she quickly put a stop to them.

She started to appear icy.

In front of him, she could finally appear quiet.

The ice cream vendor immediately gave the girls their ice cream.

"Mommy, money please."

Upon hearing that, Scarlet awoke from her dream, she was on the verge of having a heart attack. She quickly handed the ice cream vendor ten dollars right away.

She was expecting to leave right away was the main thought that came to her after that.

Ella and Mila cannot see him, so she must prevent it.

She expressed her discomfort.

"Come on my darlings, let's go. Isn't it right to say that you don't maintain that your uncle should wait?"

She dragged her girls away without waiting around for an answer.

Jared turned at his shoulder after hearing a familiar voice during part of his call.

He noticed a woman's natural form out of the corner of his eye.

Is that Scarlet Williams? She seems to have returned.

Jared immediately went after her, but she had proactively slipped into the crowd.

Jared was about to explode with rage as his expression grew gloomy.

On the other end, as Scarlet hurried out of the airport, her heart sank to her throat and remained there. In order to confirm that he didn't pursue them, she kept turning at her shoulder.

Fortunately, even after they left the airport, his figure was nowhere to be found.

Scarlet could finally utter a murmur of assistance.

It puzzled the kids that their mother kept turning her head to peer behind them.

They realized it wasn't the best time to ask Scarlet for clarification on important matters as she seemed to be restless. They silently agreed to let her drag them out as she requested.

Kelvin called out from a faraway place, "Scarlet! Ella! Mila!".

When the three of them lifted their heads, they saw him standing next to a woman and joyfully waving at them as they approached.

Upon seeing Kelvin, Scarlet began to unravel gradually. She said with a wide grin.

"Kevin, it's been so long!" was the exclamation.

In response, Kelvin laughed. You and I both have been missed. " .

In reality, they have only occasionally had the chance to meet while they have maintained contact over the years via the internet.

Kelvin embraced her and then knelt down and pushed the girls into an embrace.

"My girls, did you miss me?".

Ella and Mila shared an endearing chuckle before answering jointly.

"We do, of course. Even so, we yearned for you, Uncle Kelvin. You continue to possess the standard level of attractiveness."

Following their praise, Kelvin grinned brightly and said, "How sweet of you girls!".

"Dasha! Scarlet, Dasha!" Kevin then introduced his girlfriend.

Following the introduction, Scarlet said calmly as she glance at the airport terminal's entrance.

"Shall we leave now. I feel a little peckish."

Before rising to his feet, Kelvin kissed the girls' cheeks individually. He guided them into his car and threw the luggage in the back before scurrying off.

At the same time, Jared appeared at the airport's main entrance.

He told Asher, his assistant, to cancel his today's meeting in another country.

Asher made a quick affirming gesture. "Mr. Blakemore, we've expanded our search for little Lila . because she's still young and unable to travel very far. You can undoubtedly unwind."

Jared loves little Lila dearly. More important is finding her. The significance of his meeting there is diminished in light of the current situation.

As Jared moved toward the car he had parked by the road, his expression grew gloomy.

The car soon accelerated and left.

Kelvin's car eventually appeared in the province of Withered. There were many houses in the neighborhood.

This is the home that Kelvin secured for Scarlet after she asked for his help in finding a place to rent.

Following Kelvin's example, the five of them jumped out of the car and entered the new home.

Everything about the environment seems nice. Like the spot, scarlet. " .

Scarlet left satisfied and went to thank Kelvin.

"I like it. Thanks. " .

The brow of Kelvin twitched. "My friend is the owner of this home. When I got back to B city last week, I eventually found it. We are welcome to visit each other's homes whenever we are free."

Scarlet nodded in agreement while bending her lips.

It was a great opportunity to have lunch after she briefly unloaded their belongings.

As a result, Kelvin took them to lunch.

A young girl suddenly burst out of a dark corner as Kelvin was about to exit his car after having just crashed into the restaurant's parking lot.

Before Kelvin's car could cause a scene in the neighborhood, the young girl, he slammed on the brakes. He looked at the little girl who had collapsed to the ground in disbelief.

The risk of disaster was also hustling in Scarlet's heart. Before making her way for the exit, she went to make sure her girls were okay.

A young child, possibly around six years old, was just a few inches away from the car. It was clear that she was in shock as she sat on the ground.

When she saw it, Scarlet could feel her heart soften. Before asking, she cautiously moved closer to the young girl.

"Are you okay, little one?

The young girl's hair was braided and she had a fair complexion. She was delicately constructed, with a lovely figure and large eyes. She was holding an expensive doll in her arms while wearing a white dress.

The little girl stood up when she heard Scarlet's voice and trembledly shook her head. She recalled to watch Scarlet closely.

Scarlet quietly observed the young girl as her heart pounded in unison. Once she was certain the child was safe, she let out a sigh of relief internally and connected with helping the child up.

She had just reached out her hand when the little girl jerked back in fear.

Hand in scarlet stopped in midair. She explained, flashing a reassuring smile.

"You can undoubtedly unwind. I'm not trying to hurt you. I Just wanna help you up, please."

She cast a doubtful glance in her direction and questioned, "Where could your parents be? Why are you alone?"

Without saying a word, the young child tightly embraced her doll and gave a headshake.

Scarlet's brows furrowed in frustration as she realized she had no idea how to interact with the young girl.

The girls soon joined Kelvin, Dasha, and the others in exiting the car.

Ella and Mila exchanged a curious glance as they observed the young girl remaining silent throughout.

"She appears adorable. Could she ever be a dumb, for what reason would she claim she is not talking?

Ella moves a little bit closer to Mila very quickly.

"Mila, the young girl has eyes that are similar to yours."
