Chapter 81

Deep in my subconscious, I could hear some people talking but I couldn’t figure out what they were saying. I only knew I was hearing voices for a while as I struggled to open my eyes. When I finally opened my eyes, I saw three strange faces in front of me.

I licked my dried lips wondering who they were. My body was stiff, I could not move my hands or legs. Fear gripped me as I wondered if I had been paralyzed by the accident. My breathing became irregular. Did I lose my legs?

I closed my eyes when I noticed they were about to look at me, I quickly shut my eyes, not ready to give them any reason to question me.
