Ronan’s POV

Isla isn’t supposed to be here. But that isn’t the case right now. I am waiting for the doctor to revive her to hear what she has to say about my son. I kept pacing the room back and forth feeling restless. If Timon had not stopped me, I would have raced to the village where Fiona and my son were. He assured me he would get in touch with the men appointed to guard them to know what might be happening.

“Your majesty.” The doctor called out to me.

“What is wrong with her?” I inquired.

“She is dehydrated and passed out due to exhaustion. She must have been running for a long while. She would be awake soon enough for you to speak to her.” He said. “I will take my leave now, Your Highness.”

“Thank you, doctor.” I patted his back before moving on to Isla. “Isla what is wrong with my son?” I questioned forgetting that she was just recovering herself.
