“Why don’t we take a small break from this conversation?” Peter said snapping Lucian out of his anger.

Looking to his side, he could see Thea’s face, white as a ghost’s looking down at the table as she clenched her fists. Cold sweat was running by the side of her temple as she gulped down probably too engrossed in her memories to realize how bad her shape was.

Looking up, he found Pen in a similar state as Haden pulled her to his side, she was looking far into space with an empty look.

What was he doing making those two relive such hideous memories?! If this is what his mother had meant, then she was more nasty of a person than he thought. For her to threaten to reveal something like this. The woman must have gone mad.

“Yeah, how about something to eat for now? I’m sure that all of you are hungry.” Lucian suggested.

Thea finally looked up looking a bit relaxed as she nodded.

“Yeah, we still didn’t eat anything. How about I order us some brunch, I will go check on what they have,” She
