Marcelyn moved her phone to a better angle so that she would be able to follow the chef well without missing any vital point of the things he was saying about the meal he was preparing.

The thing was she was cooking a meal for Darell as a surprise. She knew that he wouldn't be expecting such a thing from her and that added to her enthusiasm for making a sumptuous meal for him.
