Chapter seventy five

Hannah was still lost in thought when she heard a loud bang on her car. Frightened by the sound, she swerved off the road, stopped the car, and looked around for a sign of life but she couldn't find anything strange.

She turned her key into the ignition but the car refused to cough to life. She got out of the car to check the car engine and maybe figure out a way to fix the problem.

She opened the car bonnet to see what she could do about it since the road she was on was a little deserted.

She was still checking the car engine, removing some plugs, and fixing them back when a hand held her tightly by the throat. Because of how sudden it was, Hannah hadn't been able to scream for help when the hand held her.

Waves of fear washed over her as the hand closed over her throat even tighter. All she could think about at that moment was if she was going to die just like that and that too, in the hands of somebody she couldn't understand.
