Grey’s POV.

I wrapped her against my broad chest, as I felt her slim body shivered against mine. She felt so guilty, saying she would have been killed instead.

I never planned to spill any blood, all was my fought I admit. Something was missing, and we need to do the needful to end this heat turning once and for all.

She hasn’t said a word to me but I could feel how much she misses me. Her hands are still wrapped behind me, and the whole of her body pressed against my chest.

Charles and the other men, took out the lifeless bodies of my cousins. I wasn’t that heartless, I feel guilty for losing them, but I had no choice my Daisie was being hurt and scared.

I traced the hand she laid across my chest, there are cuts and bruises on her lips that even want to make me kill the dead body over and over again, my gut burns as though an acid was poured down there.

She finally pulled out of my hold, but she dropped her gaze. Instead of staring at me she gazed at my dirty shoe with snow and wet
