Chapter 12

THE WAY Sebastian moved his lips were seducting and Kai didn't know how to react. His lips remained unmoving at tanging ang prinsipe lamang ang humahalik sa kanya.

Sebastian's kiss was soft and slow and Kai couldn't do anything but to close his eyes and feel the tenderness of their kiss.

Sebastian groaned matapos maramdaman ang biglaang paggalaw ni Kai sa kanyang kandungan and what shocked him more was when Kai began to move his own lips.

It was turning him on pero hindi niya mapigilang matawa matapos maramdaman ang paghalik sa kanya ng lalaki. He could feel his lips and hands tremble, which he thought was cute.

Kai moved his face away from the prince then glared at him. “Why the fuck are you laughing?”

“Nothing, ” anito habang nagpipigil ng tawa.

Kai stared at him blankly.

“F*ck you.”

Sebastian's face suddenly became serious.

“What did you say?”

Kai raised his brows at him. “What?”

Kai was about to move again when he felt something weird on Kai's lap.

“What the hell is—”

Sebastian immediately pulled him away from his lap saka deretsong tumayo paharap sa lalaki. Sebastian cupped his face then kissed his forehead before leaning near his ear.

“Don't say words like that, again. You need to rest, Kai. I'll accompany you to your room.”

Kai looked at him in the eyes, “What about you?”

Unconsciously, his eyes fell on the thing between Sebastian's thighs. He gulped.

Sebastian shrugged. “I still have many paperworks to finish.”

“Take a good rest, okay?” Sabi pa nito.

Kai tsked before chuckling. “You should tell that to yourself, Your Highness.” 

Kai waited for Sebastian to laugh but the prince remained silent and just stared at him. Sebastian sighed and cupped Kai's face using both of his hands then he leaned closer so that he can kiss Kai's forehead again and Kai was unable to blink or even move an inch.

“Sleep well, alright? Goodnight.” Once again, Sebastian ruffled his hair before leaving Kai who just stood there and unconsciously held his chest.

“What the hell. . .” He muttered. 

His heart was rapidly beating and he can't stop himself from flushing! ‘Dear God! Who does he think he is! And why the hell is he being weird?’

He shook his head then headed towards his bed after locking the door. Malakas pa rin ang tibok ng kanyang puso kaya't pilit niya itong kinalma. He inhaled deeply and let out the air in his lungs. Nang medyo kumalma na ang sarili ay saka siya humiga sa kama. 

They kissed alright! Sebastian kissed him and he kissed him too! Dahil sa biglaang hiyang naramdaman ay wala sa sariling hinablot ni Kai ang unan saka iyon tinakip sa kanyang mukha.

They freaking kissed! 

It wasn't the first time that Sebastian kissed him but it was the first time that the prince kissed him without the influence of alcohol, that is. And he can't stop himself but blush at the thought.

Holy hell. 

Mabilis siyang tumayo sa kama saka nagtungo sa bathroom. He stared at himself on the mirror. Good thing his lips weren't swollen. He heaved a deep breath.

Wala sa sariling napatingin siya sa ibabang parte ng kanyang katawan. 

“What the hell. . .”

Why the hell was he having a hard on?! What the fuck is happening? Kai blushed when he was the first thing that came across his mind why he was having a hard on was because of the kiss! Goodness! 

Napaupo na lamang siya sa sahig saka tinitigan ang nabubuhay niyang pagkalalaki. Just what the hell.

“WAS that clear?”

Sabay na tumango sina North at Monroe sa harapan ng hari. The king assigned a mission for the both of them. Alam na agad nito ang nangyari kung kaya't ganun na lamang kabilis ang naging kilos nito at agad silang inutusan.Kailangan nilang mahanap kung sino ang may pakana sa nangyaring insidente.

North and Monroe will be travelling tomorrow early in the morning. While walking outside of the King's chamber ay hindi mapigilan ni Monroe ang mapangiwi dahil sa nanlilisik na mga mata ni North sa kanya.

When he couldn't take it anymore, Monroe met his gaze saka pantay itong tiningnan.

“What's with the glare, North?”

North tsked.

“Better not get in my way, you philandering b*stard.” Anito saka siya inirapan at nagpamaunang lakad hanggang sa tuluyang naiwan si Monroe sa pasilyo.

Madilim na pero halata sa mukha ni Monroe ang biglaang pagkagulat matapos marinig ang katagang iyon ni North ngunit hindi rin naman nagtagal ay napailing na lamang siya saka nakangising tiningnan ang pasilyo na dinaan kanina ng lalaki.

“Don't get in your way, huh?” Napailing siya, “We'll see, North. We'll see.”

SEBASTIAN woke up feeling drowsy. He got up from his bed saka nagtungo sa bathroom para maligo. Matapos makapagligo ay muli niyang tiningnan ang kanyang mesang may mga natitira pang papeles.

“Almost done.” He muttered bago lumabas sa kanyang silid.

He went straight into Kai's room and when he couldn't find him there. Sakto namang pagkalabas niya ay bumungad sa kanya ang mukha ni North.

“North. Where's Kai?”

North pointed his finger at the right wing of the palace. He saw him in the kitchen earlier.

“Maybe he's still in the kitchen, Your Highness.” Aniya.

Akmang maglalakad na sana si Sebastian nang mapansin nito ang bag sa likod ni North.

“What's that for?” Tanong niya, pertaining the bag.

North followed where the prince's eyes landed, it was his bag. 

“Emergency purposes.” Tumikhim siya saka nagpatuloy, “The king wants me and Monroe to gather some information about the incident. Actually, I was going to tell you last night but you were already asleep.”

“I see.”

Tumango si North nang biglang dumating si Monroe. Muling tiningnan ni North ang prinsipe saka yumuko.

“We'll be going now, Your Highness. I'll inform you when there's an update.”

Sebastian nodded saka tinapik ang balikat nito.

“Mag-iingat kayo.” 

Mabilis namang tumango ang dalawang lalaki bago tuluyang naglakad paalis. Sebastian looked at them as they made their way out of the hallway before walking his way to the palace's kitchen.

Agad bumungad sa kanya ang mabangong amoy galing sa kusina. When he entered the kitchen, hindi niya mapigilang humanga when he saw Kai expertly cooked with a serious expression on his face. 

Sebastian was amazed the way Kai added and mixed several seasonings and spices which releases a very pleasant aroma. He doesn't know sh*t about cooking kung kaya't ganun na lamang ang paghangang naramdaman niya sa lalaki.

Even though he wanted to learn, his father never allowed him to kung kaya't hanggang tingin na lamang siya sa mga nagluluto sa kusina. 

Tahimik na lumapit si Sebastian kay Kai saka dahan-dahan naglakad patungo sa direksyon nito. Kai was seriously cooking and he bet na hindi siya nito mapapansin.

Sebastian was grinning from ear to ear saka inihanda na ang sarili para gulatin si Kai nang bigla ay nagsalita ito.

“Stop it, Sebastian. You look stupid.” Anito nang hindi manlang nag-abalang lumingon sa kanya.

Sebastian tsked then pouted.

“How did you notice?”

Kai rolled his eyes then turned to him. 

“Who wouldn't? You're huge. Kaya madali kitang napansin.” Kai said giving him a 'duh' look.

“Yeah, I'm certainly huge.”

Sebastian chuckled at how Kai's expression changed when he said those words from his mouth. His eyes then settled on Kai's clothes, he was wearing an apron with a white shirt underneath it.

“You look sexy.” Sebastian said smirking, teasing him. But Kai just ignored him and continued what he was doing. 

Sebastian leaned near him and looked at Kai's cooking. 

“What are you cooking?”

“Braised pork.”

Sebastian stared at the food in amazement. Wow.

Bahagyang lumapit si Sebastian kay Kai dahil natutuwa siyang tingnan ito habang nagluluto. 

“This is almost done. You go prepare the plates.” Kai said. Pinaalis niya kasi kanina ang mga tao sa kusina. He wanted to cook something for Sebastian, alone.

“As you wish, Your Highness.” Ani Sebastian saka mabilis na kumuha ng dalawang pinggan.

Only the both of them will eat. The king left the palace and so does North and Monroe. Kaya't silang dalawa lamang ang naroroon maliban sa mga guwardiya at mga tagapagsilbi sa palasyo.

“Wow! I can't believe you really cook this.” Hindi mapigilan ni Sebastian ang sariling mas humanga pa matapos tikman ang niluto ni Kai.

“Aren't I great?” Nakangising sambit ni Kai sa kanya.

“You don't look like the type who knows how to cook.” Ani Kai habang nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

Tiningnan niya ito, “What type do I look like then?”

“My type.”

Kai tsked then rolled his eyes.

“I thought you were the type who doesn't know how to cook because you obviously came from a well-off family, Kai.”

Tumaas ang kilay ni Kai.

“How can you tell that I came from a well-off family?” Aniya habang nakakrus ang braso.

Sebastian shrugged then stared at him. “I just know.”

Napailing na lamang si Kai nang magsalita ulit si Sebastian.

“Anyways, aalis na muna ako mamaya. But I'll come back, maybe tonight.”

Kai looked at him. “Where are you going?”

Sebastian shrugged, “Royal duties.”

Tumango si Kai, “I see.”

Tiningnan siya ni Sebastian, “What about you?”

“What about me?” 

“I mean, anong gagawin mo habang wala ako?”

Kai stared at him then pretended as if he was thinking deep. 

“Hmm.. Siguro tatakas?” 

Sebastian gave him a blank look then Kai grinned.

“Just kidding. Maybe I'll just read some books? Compose music? Play in the music room? Sleep? I don't know.”

Tumango-tango si Sebastian. “You can all do that later pero huwag ka munang lalabas sa palasyo. It's dangerous.”

“Yeah yeah. Whatever.”

Matapos ang kanilang umagahan ay ganun nga ang nangyari. Sebastian immediately finishes his paperworks then did his royal duties outside the palace. And Kai just sat at his room's balcony while reading a book.

Hindi niya namalayan ang oras. He got carried away because of the book he was reading. It was about an emperor and his best friend. The two characters were secretly lovers and every night they would both sleep on the emperor's room. The two characters were deeply inlove not until a woman came into their life. The emperor's father wants him to marry her to make her the empress of the family and bear him his heir. The woman loves the emperor and when she knew about the relationship between the emperor and his best friend. She instantly told everyone about them. Afraid that the emperor might lose his title, the emperor's best friend broke up with him and told the emperor to marry the girl for he thought it was the right thing.

Hindi maipaliwanag ang itsura ni Kai matapos basahin ang kalahating bahagi ng libro. 

The emperor fought for their love but the other man gave up his feelings for what he thought was right. The emperor was left empty and he had no choice when his father forced him to marry the girl and make her his empress. Just as when the other man finds the strength and will to take back what he gave up, it was already too late. The emperor already married the woman and she became his empress. It was too late and all he could do was grieve at his lost love.

Kai closes the book. 

“How stupidly tragic...” 

Inalis niya ang sarili sa pagkakaupo sa balkonahe nang bigla ay napansin niya ang itim na limousine na nakaparada sa labas ng palasyo.

Curious, dali-daling naglakad si Kai papalabas sa kanyang silid at bumaba sa kanyang silid para makalabas.

When he got nearer, sakto namang biglang bumukas ang sasakyan. A woman came out of the car. Kai just stood there when the woman came walking near him.

The clicking of her heels were the only noise at that moment. Kai almost hold his breath when the woman came face to face with her. Hindi magkalayo ang taas nila ng babae.

The woman slowly took her glasses off and Kai came face to face with the woman. The woman scanned his face then smirks at him.

“You must be Kai.” 

Her voice was sharp and serious.

“I am.”

The woman eyed her from head to toe, making Kai's brows furrowed. Tumaas ang kilay ng babae saka ngumiti sa kanya.

“Glad to finally meet you.” Anito, “I'm Kaycee, Sebastian's fiancee.”

Kaycee held out her hand and now it's Kai's turn to raise his brows. Ignoring her hand, Kai looked at her straightly.

“You seem to be mistaken. I am the bride of the third prince, Sebastian.”

The woman just smirked at him then rolled her eyes before looking at Kai.

“A prince and a king can have more than one bride, sweetie.” The woman said before smiling sweetly at him then walked her way inside the palace, leaving him outside.
