My eye bags are brilliantly huge. I couldn't sleep at all last night because of that kissing monster.

"Are you alright Tina?" Hans asks as I practise my high kicks with him.

"Yeah, I didn't have enough sleep last night that's all."

"Mint again?" Hans asks with a raised eyebrow.

I nod, "He goes to that club every day."

"He's probably just going through a phase."

"A twenty two year old man?" I say incredulously, "He's an alcoholic at this rate."

The ringing of a phone interrupts us and Hans walks to his bag and pulls out his mobile.

After taking the call, he has a huge grin across his face as he comes towards me.

"I finally have someone requesting for you!"

"What do you mean?" I ask in confusion.

"Someone needs a bodyguard for hire. You'll get paid £3000 a month." Hans explains.

£3000?! That's more than enough for me to support myself and my family.

"Sounds good." I say with a smile.

"Just one important thing Tina." Hans says with a sudden serious expression on his face.

"What is it?" I ask curiously.

"Uh, the client has a phobia of women so they want a male bodyguard."

"Male? Then how do I–" I gasp as Hans nods suggestively. "You want me to be a man?!"

"Come on Tina, it's not too bad. You don't usually look any different from a man anyway. Think about it. £3000 to act like a man."

"Is that an insult Hans?" I say, crossing my arms.

"I'm just saying the truth." Hans defends.

It's not a bad deal to be honest. I know myself that I get mistaken for a male when I usually go about my days anyway. I don't really mind what people see me as and I'll become rich enough to support my family.

"If he has a phobia of women, would he be alright with me? I'm physically a woman too." I ponder aloud.

"It shouldn't trigger his fear if he thinks of you as a man right?" Hans says.

"Fine, I'll risk this job for the money." I say with a smile.

Hans chuckles, "You really love money."

"Who doesn't?" I grin. I'm finally on my way to becoming rich.

***

After Hans has sent me the location for the meeting with the client, I drive to the cafe. I've made sure to style my hair neatly for this meeting and I'm wearing a suit. I have to look the part in front of a rich client.

"You're finally here."

I glance across at the person waiting for me. My eyes widen as he lifts up his head after checking his watch.

Th-this man again?!

"I think I have the wrong table." I mutter and quickly walk away. My client is probably waiting for me on the other side of this cafe. Hans has accidentally given me the wrong table number.

"Wait, are you Mr Tin Gold?" The man calls behind me.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath.

Do it for £3000. £3000. £3000. I chant inside my mind.

Recollecting myself, I walk as calmly as I can, back to the table.

"You've already wasted a lot of my time." The man says rudely. Is he always this impolite to strangers?

"I apologise Mr Jerk." I say calmly.

His eyes widen as he glares at me before his eyebrows knit together.

"Y-you! Why are you here?!"

I laugh as he looks flustered at seeing me again.

"You shouldn't be so rude to someone who is willing to be your bullet proof shield."

I understand now why this man would need a skilled bodyguard. With his arrogant rudeness and temper, it's no wonder he would be making enemies every time he breathes.

"What? You're actually the one Hans sent?! I told him to send me a professional bodyguard, not a thug." He says angrily.

"Please keep your voices down." A waiter says as he passes.

Everyone is staring at our table.

"I'm not a thug. I'm here to be your bodyguard so stop pissing me off." I say through gritted teeth.

"You're the one pissing me off! A thug as my bodyguard? Hell no!" He shouts.

"I can kill you right now if you continue being a rude jerk." I warn him.

"You're trying to scare me now? I'll call the cops!"

"Sirs, unfortunately, we will have to request both of you to leave as you are disturbing our customers." The waiter from before says and gestures to the door.

"We apologise." I say politely before grabbing my client's arm and dragging him out of the cafe.

Once outside, I let go of his arm and glare at him.

"What do I need to do for you to take me on as your bodyguard?" I won't let go of the £3000 this easily.

"Show me your fighting skills."

"Fine." I agree. "Who am I fighting?"

He smirks and I can literally see his mind scheming something.

"Follow me."

  • His Bodyguard   Chapter 70

Heart racing and my hands shaking with nervousness, I stand up. The mirror is a long floor length and my white gown flows down my body like a waterfall. The lacy neck adds a touch of elegance to the dress and the trail is shorter than the regular wedding dress' since I want to make sure I don't accidentally trip whilst I walk. As Liana turns around and puts the makeup and hair styling tools back into her bag, I pace around, trying to calm my nerves. "Tina, are you still nervous? Don't worry, everything will be fine. I'll look after baby Carl when you walk down the aisle." Liana says, patting my shoulder comfortingly. Panda and I finally decided on a name for our baby because the parents kept scolding us for calling our son "Cub". Thus, he is now named Carl Martin King. I smile at her, "Thank you. I don't even know why I am so nervous." I admit. I haven't been feeling well since last night. It must be what the

Sleeping in the same room as Panda King feels different. It's different from all the times in the past when I was "Tin" and it's different from the night at the island. My nerves are everywhere as he wraps his arm around me and hugs me to him as I lie on my side. Cub is sleeping in his Moses basket which my father already prepared for him. I am surprised how easily my dad accepted my baby and Panda. I thought he would continue with his cold, stern father charade for longer. "You're not asleep yet are you?" He asks quietly. I close my eyes and pretend to sleep. I feel him moving his body even closer, his warmth against my back. "I know you can't sleep." He whispers into my ear, causing my body to shiver. I try to stay still but he gently turns me over until we are facing each other. "Open your eyes or I will kiss you." He teases. Damn it! Not

Once the doctor has made sure that I am fine, Panda holds my hand and takes me to the Neonatal ward. The nurse gently picks up a sleeping Cub and hands him over to me. It feels both wonderful and fascinating as I feel my child in my arms."It's best to feed him your own breast milk for the first year, then he can be weaned onto baby food later." She explains as my eyes are still fixated on him.I nod absentmindedly, too busy gazing at this cute baby. "Yes.""Thank you for taking care of Cu-our son." Panda says with a smile. He wraps his arm softly around my waist and gently manoeuvres me out of the room."He is so cute." I say quietly, touching Cub's soft hair."Just like his dad." Panda grins.I chuckle, "No way, he obviously takes after his mum.""Of course. His mother is the most beautiful woman." Panda hugs me to him. "I'm glad

With my face damp, I wake up. Did I have a nightmare again? Why is my body hurting? Sitting up slowly, I glance around. I am not in my room. My hand has a familiar drip injected inside. Why am I in the hospital again? Touching my bump, I gasp. Why does it feel so light? Where is my baby?! Crying as thoughts cloud my mind, I hurriedly pull off the drip from my hand and climb out of the hospital bed, ignoring the pain in my stomach. The door suddenly opens as I run towards it and an exhausted looking Panda King stares at me with wide eyes. I run pass him, trying to leave the room so I can find a doctor and find out what is happening. I am so confused. "Tina! Tina, please calm down." Panda says as he holds me in his arms, preventing me from leaving. He worriedly holds my hand. "You're bleeding. Please listen to me Tina and sit down. Let me sort your hand out." My body feels cold as I stare

  • His Bodyguard   Chapter 66

Seeing Panda King via video call does not satisfy my heart. I miss being with him but to carry out our plan and get the evidence from Ciarra Lake, I have to sacrifice my time with Panda.Of course Hans is still angry about me going to see Panda but he has started talking to me again. I returned home and lied to my dad about having some gastric issue. I still can't tell him I am pregnant.I don't meet Panda for a few weeks. It's a day where I am uselessly lounging around the house when Panda video calls me. Smiling happily, I accept the call and gaze at his handsome face.He looks extremely excited about something as he grins widely. "I've done it Tina!"Confused, I raise my eyebrows, "Done what?""I finally got hold of the evidence Ciarra had. I have gathered all the CCTV footage from the house too. The kitchen footage is pretty interesting." He says.I
