It's been a long journey and I honestly never thought I would get more than five readers when I first began writing His Bodyguard. I wasn't sure how or if I would be able to complete it but knowing that there are people out here who are giving me a chance and giving my story a chance, it really motivated me. Heart racing and my hands shaking with nervousness, I stand up. The mirror is a long floor length and my white gown flows down my body like a waterfall. With my face damp, I wake up. Did I have a nightmare again? Why is my body hurting? Sitting up slowly, I glance around. I am not in my room. My hand has a familiar drip injected inside. Why am I in the hospital again? Touching my bump, I gasp. Why does it feel so light? Where is my baby?! Crying as thoughts cloud my mind, I hurriedly pull off the drip from my hand and climb out of the hospital bed, ignoring the pain in my stomach.
