The rumor about Alpha Dario’s mate being an elf had spread like wildfire through the 25 packs. Now, all the alphas of the 25 packs were calling and advocating for her execution. “This is such a mess. What do we do?”. James asked, panicking and pacing round Dario’s office. James looked even more troubled than Dario about this matter. There was literally a crowd outside the pack house trying to seek an audience with their alpha. Also, clamoring for the the execution of Marissa. This made him so mad but he couldn’t blame them either. Even he had a hard time accepting it, accepting her for who she was. Dario knew that it would be very hard to convince his people or make them accept her as soon as his rage was down after discovering that she was an elf so he wasn’t surprised. However, he didn’t anticipate that it would be this bad. There were at least 600 werewolves outside the pack house, shouting and chanting, which meant that almost everyone in the 20 packs were outside chanting:
Marissa had been groaning and rolling in pain. Everything felt so intense, everything was so painful. She just wanted it all to end. “It would be better if I die! Ahhh!”. She creams at the top of her lungs for the first time since the pain of transition started three days ago. It had become unbearable. It felt like her her blood was literally boiling, like there was a hot iron pressed on every single part of her body from the inside, constantly getting hotter by the second. “Please fight it master. You’ve come so far. Only three days more. The creature in the black cloak said as it appeared again. Marissa was so frustrated and was literally going insane. She laughed. So manically that even the creature was alarmed. Not even a second later, another agonizing scream leaves her mouth, herr heart beating so fast she thought it would give out on her, and the funny part is that she wanted it to. She had begun to give up on everything. It was too much. The pain, the torture, the heart
Marissa’s P.O.VPain is all I feel. From my head, to my lungs, to my teeth and even my internal organs. Everything felt like someone was tearing through every part of me with a newly sharpened knife but that wasn’t all. I’m surrounded by darkness, and it felt like it was seeping into my soul. I am literally blind in here and that scared me more than I could admit“No No No!”. I yelled out, knowing that there was nothing in here, besides my pitiful self and the darkness, as my voice echoed back to me like it was mocking meIn just a few minutes, I was going crazy with the solitude. It wasn’t my first time being locked up in a room or cell in darkness but at least I knew I wasn’t alone. Even the wicked guards were assurance that I wasn’t alone but not here. I was totally alone here. I’m tired. I’m tired of everything. The pain is too much, the sufferings are more than I can hear. I haven’t even been able to be happy for a whole month in several years. “Was I only born to suffer?”
“You are ready but your body isn’t”. The creature said to her as they sat in front of the mouth of the pit. She had gotten out! She literally floated out! Crazy, right? She had tried several time but got it on the 7th try, and to her, it was the easiest thing and couldn’t stop stop floating no matter how hard she tried. “Oh!”. She exclaimed as she saw herself almost two feet off the ground and consiously brought herself back down. Her fingers tingled all day since yesterday that she got out of the pit. It was a beautiful kind of of tingle and she could see herself get used to it. She felt stronger, more competent, and healthier. Just yesterday, she still felt very weak but now, it’s like she had several days to rest, even if it’s just been a few hours. “Please come back to me”. She heard Dario speak. The sound scaring her more than anything. She was in a world she didn’t know, and he’s here? How?. She looked around for the source of the voice but it felt like it came from ever
“Oh no”. Claire said as she looking into Marissa’s eyes. They looked dead, like her feeling we’re just gone, and it scared her to no end. Dario on the other hand was not even panicking, only nursing his wounded soul at being pushed away by his mate. “Marissa?”. Claire asks, taking cautious steps towards her. The urge to hug her overpowering everything else. So she did hug her not knowing what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised when she got a hug back. The sight only hurt Dario further as he fully knew that she just didn’t want him close. Even though he anticipated it, it still hurt. He couldn’t blame her though because he knew that he was nothing less than wicked to her after putting himself in her shoes like James told him to.“She definitely hates me now”. He said to his wolf who howled in pain, knowing that meant he hated the both of them. “I didn’t even do anything but because of you. She hates me too”. Dexter whines rightfully accusing Dario, who just groaned in resp
“She doesn’t want me anymore”. Dario said to James as he paced around in his office. He had tried to talk to her severally since the day before but she was not having it. His main fear now was that she would reject him, and he knew very well that he wouldn’t be able to survive it especially with the guilt eating away at his heart.“It’s only normal that she’s mad at you. I also would not speak to you for even a year. You deserve it”. James answered clearly not sugarcoating anything. He himself was frustrated at the way his best friend handled issues with his mate. “Firstly, you locked her up as soon as you found her. Not long after she started coming out properly, you imprisoned her, knowing fully well that she had been imprisoned for most of her life. She was painfully transitioning into an elf, but you let her through it alone. Yes,you went to her every day but does she know that? No. Did you going there everyday help her? No. Give me one reason why she should even look at you”.
With every second that passed, Marissa discovers a new power. It was endless, and as much as it empowered her, it scared her. “Whoa!”. She exclaimed as a glass shattered just because she sneezed hard. It was obvious that the glass broke because of her and it felt so great that she was so powerful but then, she thought of the downsides. “I could hurt innocent people if I don’t master them all”. She thought to herself as she but her finger thinking about just how long it would take to learn them all. She had discovered that she could literally levitate and that the dream was real, she had telekinesis, she had super strength, she could almost tell what a person was thinking. “Then hurt them”. The voice of the creature came again, standing beside her bed. She still couldn’t see his face as he wore black everywhere with only his eyes showing but she could tell that he was smiling, and she knew it was a sinister one. “Wait! Did I just hear your voice in my head?”. She asks in utter di
As Marissa left the dining room, her only thought was: “I’ll be out of here soon”.She had already drawn a map of the pack using her heightened senses, photographic memory and using the creature whose specialty was to hide in the shadows. The art of escaping was nothing new to her as she had attempted to escape her previous captors severally but was always caught and tortured till she was near death. FlashbackEverytime they were released to take a bath was the only time Marissa could see a place different from her cell. However, they never saw the sun or knew what fresh air felt like but she knew that air was at least coming from somewhere or else, they wouldn’t be able to survive, and she scanned. Acting like she was falling from exhaustion but instead she was just scanning. The falling earned her some hits by the guards.“Stand up you weakling”. They ordered hitting her with the back of their guns. It hurt like her head was smashed into the wall but she continued and fell again
