Her words went down to the root of his soul, and he was immediately shook with surprise, need, want and everything in between.

She had no idea what she had just unleashed.

“What did you say?”. Dario asks, panting and already out of breath like he just ran a marathon. He needed to be sure that he was not mistaken.

He really hoped he heard her right the first time.

“I said, I never told you to hold back”. She confirmed her words, easing her eyes from his foot to his face.

That look had Dario panting harder, with all his senses at alert m. He was already going crazy and she had not even touched a hair on his body.

She was not even too close to him but her looking at him like she liked what she saw, almost undid him.

He could not help the low growl that escaped his lips.

“Princess, please do not test me”. He responded. His tone that of one that was desperately begging, as his chest rose and fell.

“I’m not testing you”. She replies, walking closer to him.

  • His Bane   Her Elements

“Soooo, how did it go?”. Claire asked her brother, poking him with her elbow as she wiggled her eyebrows, loving just how much she was bothering Dario who looked just as annoyed as she wanted him to be. “Poke me one more time dear sister, and I’ll break your fingers”. He responded with a small smile that immediately made him look like a psychopath. Not wanting to be on the receiving end of the pain that came with broken fingers, she quietly exited from his office. The exchange made James smile like a proud father making Dario scoff. “Wipe that disgusting look off your face”. Dario scowlied, the action only made James smile further. He was happy about the little changes he was noticing in Dario. They were subtle but we’re still totally unexpected. He remembered just how scary and annoyed Dario was all the time. How he killed for the littlest things. How lonely he was, even though Dario would never admit it, and he also could not dare bring it up. “I’m just happy bestie”. Jame

  • His Bane   The Attack

Dario had never imagined that pretty little mate was this strong and powerful. He marveled at just how great her powers were, how powerful she was becoming. His mouth hung open as he admired every single muscle that moved in her body whenever she attacked or dodged. However, there was one thing that worried him as much as it scared him. He could see just how much she enjoyed inflicting pain on the demon. He could not deny that he also felt satisfaction whenever he got rid of an enemy or a creature he thought was being a nuisance but it was nothing compared to how her smile was purely sadistic. He knew her kind was inherently wired to bend towards evil more than good but thought that instinct would only come when she was much more stronger which would usually take some time but she was different, and it scared him more than he could admit. After the first strike, where all her powers joined together to hit the demon at once in perfect harmony, the demon was already almost fully ki

The smell of blood filled the air, and the usual chirping of birds could just be heard. However, cries, wailing and howling could be heard miles away from the pack. This made Dario feel a lot of things; HeartbreakPain The most piercing one being disappointment. Not in anyone but himself. He had become rusty and it caused all of this. The blood, and damaged look of the pack was something he had not seen in a long time. Many of his pack members had never seen a fight as no one ever dared to attack them since the death of his parents, knowing and hearing of just how brutal he was. It had been a long while since he showed just who he was and how strong and brutal. This event just woke up that Dario. As he thought of just how much he wanted to tear them apart, his breaths came in faster, his teeth elongated and his claws grew at the same time. Marissa had never actually seen the full extent of his claws and teeth and was taken aback by just how large they were. It also appeared

  • His Bane   Better Safe Than Sorry

“How exactly do they have the mind to do that?”. Marissa asks skipping as she walked, trying to catch up with Claire who was taller and was taking long strides. “That’s exactly why they are the most feared pack of rogues in the supernatural world Marissa”. Claire answered sounding as tired as she felt. She had been actively fighting, trying to protect the people as much as she could, while also sustaining a wound to the left side if her stomach. Sniffing the air, Marissa began to smell the faint smell of blood. Out of her so many powers, her sense of smell was the weakest and so sha panicked once she perceived blood, especially because it smelled like it was right next to her, and so she scanned her whole body, tapping furiously to find a wound on her that did not exist. “It’s me. I’m the one bleeding”. Claire said with a shake of her head. She found Marissa too cute and clueless sometimes because why is a grown woman sniffing all round her body, as far as her nose could reach.

Her first thought was to go to Dario but on second thoughts, she chose to run towards the source of the scream knowing very well that her mate must have also heard the noise and did jig want to waste any time as the scream sounded more than desperate and now that she had powers that could help, she would. From afar, she could see that one of the pack warriors was being dragged away. Marissa was always of the opinion that it was better to die on the battle field or wherever you encounter an attack than being kidnapped and taken to their places or lairs as then, you would be used however they want. Rushing through the trees that got up to her knees, blocking her from running as fast as she could. She began to desperately grab each bra
