“How exactly do they have the mind to do that?”. Marissa asks skipping as she walked, trying to catch up with Claire who was taller and was taking long strides.

“That’s exactly why they are the most feared pack of rogues in the supernatural world Marissa”. Claire answered sounding as tired as she felt.

She had been actively fighting, trying to protect the people as much as she could, while also sustaining a wound to the left side if her stomach.

Sniffing the air, Marissa began to smell the faint smell of blood.

Out of her so many powers, her sense of smell was the weakest and so sha panicked once she perceived blood, especially because it smelled like it was right next to her, and so she scanned her whole body, tapping furiously to find a wound on her that did not exist.

“It’s me. I’m the one bleeding”. Claire said with a shake of her head.

She found Marissa too cute and clueless sometimes because why is a grown woman sniffing all round her body, as far as her nose could reach.

From afar, she could see that one of the pack warriors was being dragged away. Marissa was always of the opinion that it was better to die on the battle field or wherever you encounter an attack than being kidnapped and taken to their places or lairs as then, you would be used however they want. They keep coming. It was like they multiplied as she killed them and at first she thought it was a trick her mind was playing on her. “Oh no”. She whispered out to herself upon seeing just what she thought was impossible. Marissa had been confused as to why she felt such a strong presence and only saw the rogues, knowing fully well that the presence she felt was not just that if a strong wolf but that of a very powerful creature. Only now did she see exactly why she felt what she felt. “It looks just like me”. She said to herself. Her mind wheeling back and forth as the goosebumps that danced on her skin whenever it involved this creature, appeared. She rubbed her eyes with the sleeves of her oversized sweater, thinking her eyes were probably deceiving her but saw the same thing when her vision focused back. “Yes, we are the same Marissa”. The creature replied, also using her voice. The shock she felt was more than she thought possible. One would think she should not be this sh

Just when he was ready to infiltrate the lair of the rogues who have no pack and took themselves everywhere, causing havoc wherever they went, he encounters this?“Where is Marissa?!”. He thundered out, asking no one in particular but had everyone running left, right and center looking for her. “It’s always her. She’s always the source of problems”. Amelia muttered under her breath to Trent to shushed her but Dario heard it quite alright and it aggravated him. Usually, he would not comment on things that are not said out loud or directly to him or the people he cared about but these word infuriated him so much. “The next time you utter a word against my mate. “The powder won’t do much to stop Adamei. It will just kill everyone!”. Dario roared as his council members were acting like they suddenly became too dumb to comprehend very simple stuff. The powder in question was the sma powder he used to get rid of the elves. The one that also killed almost half of the pack alongside the elves he intended to kill only. “How you all want to hold the smoke or air from drifting into some other places and the back is beyond me. Who here has powers to control air?”. He asks sounding as frustrated and angry as he was. “Luna can”. The gamma responded, and Dario could swear it took everything in him not to give a Trent a thundering slap. He did not want to use that powder for so many reasons. He also was a creature and that powder could wipe out any and every creature that is within several miles. His mate was currently recovering from the state she had been in due to her resistance from Adamei. It shocked Dario, just how strong the little mate of h

“Gotcha bitch”. Marissa smiled maniacally. The little whites of her teeth barely showing through the pool of blood that gathered in her mouth. She was in severe pain but was happy at the same time. She had found the weak point of Adamei. “She can’t hear what we speak about”. Marissa snickered to the creature inside of her that was slowly becoming her best friend. It was funny, considering that she feared the creature so much just a few months back.“Yes. She can’t. I’ve been trying to tell you since but you were not listening to me”. The monster said almost scoffing.“You should have just screamed it out. Damnit! You made me suffer for nothing!”. She yelled out in her head. Focusing on the new idea she just conjured up, she moved on from the accusations and took a step towards it. Marissa just discovered that in addition to the fact that she could not hear her conversations with the creature in her mind, Adamei could also not copy what didn’t see. She had only been using the po

  • His Bane   Dario’s Anger

Dario immediately changed into his majestic wolf form that he somehow did not like to be in, since he found Marissa, as he almost could not control Dexter when it came to his mate but he transformed because she needed Dexter more than him right now, and he also knew that his wolf’s current priority was to heal his mate as see her safe. He also somehow did it for himself because as strong as he was, he was panicking deeply and would definitely make decisions that would make his mate hate him when she woke up. “She will wake up, right?” Dario asks Dexter, who nodded to tell him yes as he was already healing her. For some reason, it was taking the doctor longer that it should to get him here and so Dario picked up his mate that almost weighed nothing yet, placing her on his back and ran back with the slowest speed it could allow itself as she was unconscious and the last thing Dexter wanted was for her to fall. Dario just silently stayed there, taking deep breaths to control his ang
