Chapter 6- Her Past!

Cassie walked through the whole street of New york city like a lost puppy. She couldn't believe what she just witnessed. This can't be true, what she saw was just a dream, a nightmare. That was what she wanted to believe but deep down she was finding it hard to digest. Everything, everything she witnessed kept replying in her head and it made her feel disgusting, made her feel helpless and hopeless.

"Are you planning to kill yourself?" Miguel asked in a cold tone, when he noticed that the girl he saved few minutes ago was planning on killing herselfherself by walking in the middle of the road.

Still the words he said, didn't even reach Cassie's ear. She was staggering, shivering and also in shock. She was sad that she couldn't save the young girl. She couldn't believe that she stood there and do nothing! Casaie thought with tears falling from her eyes. Even though she wasn't the one that was raped, she could feel the pain the girl was going through because she was also a victim.

10 years ago

It was another bright morning in Hidden vile high school. As always she was made fun by the whole school. The same regular routing she had to experience her whole life.

She was walking through the silent corridor, that was filled with nothing but whispers.

"The ugly duckling is here."

"Ugly as always. Her parents should have killed her right after she was born."

"So shameless!"

"She really scares the hell out of me. Her face scares me to the extent that I even dream of monsters all evening."

The whispers continued but that didn't stop Cassie from walking. She's been hearing the same things over and over again and it was no more affecting her.

Cassie was lost in her world, thinking about her crush Adam. The most handsome guy in Hidden ville. The first guy who helped her when others insulted her. He isn't only handsome but also has a nice heart. At least that was Cassie believed.

Adam asked her out for prom and she couldn't be more happier. She was well dressed and looking like a fairy princess.

"Are you sure you want to go, Cassie?" Jackie asked for the umpteenth time which made Cassie sighed frustratedly.

"Yes, Jackie." Cassie responded, trying her best not to roll her eyebrows.

"I just don't feel good about this whole Adam thing, for all I know he might be planning to use you." Jackie said, trying to convince her best friend to change her decision but Cassie was adamant to go and nothing could change her mind.

"Thanks for the advice Jackie but I think am late for event." Cassie said in a cold tone and left almost immediately.

"I hope you won't regret this, Cassie." Jackie muttered under her breath as she watched her best friend leave.

Cassie arrived at her school's prom, looking beautiful and breathtaking. Anyone who saw her will think she was a princess but that still didn't stop the whispers and the gossip.

"Hi Cassie."

"Hey?" Cassie replied, lost in Adam's breathtaking smile. This guy is every girls dream and she was lucky to be with him.

"Care for a drink?" Adam asked as he stopped one of the waiters before she could even reply.

"Here."

"Thanks but..."

"Don't tell me you don't drink, that's not right Cassie." Adam said with a smile as always.

"I do." Cassie agreed immediately and right now she regrets her decision. She wished she hasn't, at least she'll still have her dignity intant.

Cassie drank the whole juice with a smile though the drink was burning her throat but because she was determined to impress Adam she forced herself to drink it, unfortunately after that she fell into a deep sleep.

Cassie woke up in her room, the next day, forgotten about all what happened that night. The only thing she remember was enjoying her night with Adam.

Cassie arrived at school again, the same news , whispers and insults. But what actually caught her attention was the video displayed  on the school's screen. A girl was in the video, surrounded with three men, the girl was on the bed acting shameless and like a prostitute. The girl was no other than her. Sje didn't want to believe this. She was with Adam all night, so how could be true.

Cassie was beyond shocked when she saw those three guys take turn to rape her and one of those guys was Adam. She couldn't believe her eyes. This can't be happening to her.

Cassie went in search of Adam and saw him chatting with his friends. When she overheard their conversations.

"I heard that Cassie was good in bed, is that true Adam?"

"Yes actually, I was shocked when I witnessed all the things she did."

That was it, that was all she needed to ear. She was used, she was raped, she's been destroyed.

Present time

Cassie remembered everything, every single details which made her feel so dizzy due to the headache she's having and also because she has beencrying and immediately she fainted.

"Hey!"

Miguel stared at the girl in shock. Did she just fainted, for real?

Miguel brushed his hair with his fingers. He couldn't believe he would be doing this. He stood still, thinking for some time and decided to leave.

He turned around to leave but stopped midway when he realized what he was about to do, he was about to leave a young, innocent girl alone on the dark street and does he care, the answer is "No" but still he couldn't fight the strange feelings that he was having.

"Are you really going to leave her all alone here?" His heart commented.

"Why should he care, she's just a stranger." His mind also commented.

Miguel was lost and for the first time he didn't know what to do. He turned back and saw the girl still lying on the cold ground. "Looks like she fainted for real?" Miguel thought frustratedly.

"Don't tell me you taught she was faking it?" His conscious added.

Miguel sighed frustratedly, walked towards the girl and carried her in his arms.

"Looks like he was doing this after all."
