Chapter 52: Glaring Red Lines

The Eno family were enjoying a sumptuous lunch at the Lohr family. Though Winston and Zacharias are still annoyed at Chase, they still tried to get along with him for the sake of Rui and Eon.

Winston glanced at the mushroom soup in front of him and remembered how Rui loved this soup. So he scooped a bowl of mushroom soup and placed it in front of Rui. “Rui, here's your favorite soup. Eat lots of them. You're too skinny.”

“Thank you, uncle!” She cheerfully accepted the soup. She then picked up her spoon to take a sip. But before she could even do so, she smelled the soup up close and felt nauseous. She hurriedly placed her spoon down and rushed to the comfort room to vomit.
