3 years later…

The plane I was in just arrived at Hazart Shah Jalal International Airport at Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I flew here today because it’s Kier’s graduation tomorrow. He doesn’t have any idea that I was coming to his graduation day. When he told me the exact date of his graduation day, I decided to come in secret. Only his one and only younger sister knows.

I planned everything before coming. I brought ticket and already booked hotels where I can stay for days.

When I stepped out the plane, I looked around and I was awed a bit looking at the airport. It’s such a wide airport. When all are out, we were escorted inside along with the other passengers. We entered the hall and again I was awed of its beauty. It’s such a cool airport I’ve ever seen. Well not to mention that it’s my first time being in the other country so, yeah.

I just walk the way to exit while still looking around me. When I exited the airport, I waited for a taxicab to stop in front of me and when one came, I instantly converses with the Bangladeshi driver.

“Hi, can you understand english?” I politely asked the driver with a warm smile.

He nodded, “Yes ma’am, I can understand a little.” He answered. I sigh in relief hearing his answer. It could be hell for me if he doesn’t.

After assuring that he can understand me, I gave him the address of where am I heading to. Expectedly, he already knows where is it so he started driving to the hotel I booked in.

After a few minutes we arrived at my destination. He stopped the car at the entrance and asked him how much and give him the money. I thanked him before leaving.

When I finally settled, I looked up the building in front of me, it’s a hotel named Renaissance Dhaka Gulsham Hotel. Such a big building. I walked towards the entrance and walked towards the receiving table.

I smiled at the woman in front of me and greet her. “Good afternoon, ma’am.” I politely said.

“Hi ma’am, good afternoon to you too, how may I help you?” she said to me while smiling sweetly.

“I’m taking a hotel room ma’am.” I said.

She gives me a small smile and nodded at me, “Do you already had booked room ma’am or you’ll just going to book now?”

“I already had booked one. It’s Shilou Flores.” I politely responded and pulled out the papers or more like a reservation document and gave it to her.

“Okay ma’am, wait for a little okay, I’ll just check it first,” she said before checking her computer. I just nod and wait to her.

A few seconds later she finally looked up to me and said “Found it ma’am. 5th floor, please. Room 26. Here’s they key ma’am.” And she handed me the room’s key.

After receiving the key from her, she called a staff to escort me to my room. The staff carry my not so big luggage and head to the elevator. I just stood there while he was picking the number and the elevator began to move up. When the elevator beeps and open, he carried my luggage again and I just followed him heading to my room. Then we stood up in front a door and he asked for the key and open it.

I entered inside and thank him for escorting me and wave good bye to him. When he finally left, I looked around the room and it’s so beautiful. I roam the room and all I can say is it’s worth the price. The room has a wall color peach, had brown curtains, the sheets are white, it has table with chair, also a tv, brown woody color floor. The bed was enough wide for me. Has a great shower, and I can see the city by looking at the window glass.

After loving the view, I decided to arrange my things already so I can relax. “Damn this jet lag.” I whispered to myself.

After finishing arranging my things, I took a shower and laid to my bed. While laying I’m thinking what I might do tomorrow.

Before coming here, I bought a crazy plan with me that I will do tomorrow, and that is to seduce my friend Kier.

“Could it be a good plan?” I asked myself.

Since I didn’t get an answer from myself of course, I just laid comfortably and close my eyes to sleep. Don’t want to think anymore, what I plan is what I will do.

Early in the morning, the next day, I woke up with a smile on my lips. I get off the bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up. After washing, I readied the clothes I’m planning to wear for the graduation.

After readying everything. I checked my phone and got a message from Cassandra, Kier’s younger sister.

‘Good morning, bon.’ ‘bon’ means sister.

‘Just want to inform you that the exact time the ceremony will start at 1 pm. Since we’re coming earlier than that, you must be there before 1, so I won’t be busy yet and I can wait for you outside to escort you inside so you won’t be lost, okay?’ Cass chatted and I just replied yes to her and thank her.

Only Cassandra knows that I’m here. Other than her had no idea at all. Even his mother who asked me to be there that I flawlessly declined.

So far, I have a good relationship with his parents knowing that I’m just a friend to their child.

Since it’s still early in the morning, I stood up and take a bath first. I wore a simple blue jeans paired with a white long-sleeves on top. Cassandra told me that I must wear clothes that can cover up my body like jeans and long-sleeves if I go out the room.

After dressing up. I wore a mask and walked out my room. I walk straight to the elevator and get in. When I get in, I tap the first-floor button. Before the elevator closed someone manage to get in. It’s a woman in a pretty Muslim dress. Since she wasn’t wearing a mask, I saw her smiled at me, I just smiled back along with my eyes so she can tell that I genuinely smiled back at her.

When the elevator closed, it began to move and just a few seconds it finally beeps and opened. The woman stepped out first and me.

I walk toward the reception and ask where I can buy foods in their hotel. She called a staff and the staff escorted me to a room more like a restaurant inside an elegant hotel.

The restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful. As I was wandering my eyes around the restaurant, I walk towards the side where I can pick foods. Finds out that the food here is free for those who have a room here. Picking foods to eat, I only took a little and walk towards a table. I placed down my plate and started eating. After eating I went back to my room and laid down again.

I was just resting and when I get bored, I stand up and took a book from my bag and read while letting the time pass. After reading few chapters, my ring tone rings and it’s my alarm. Just when I realized that it’s already 11 in the morning.

After checking the time. I stood up and went to bathroom again and take bath again. When I stepped out the shower, I dried my hair with my towel and my body. I picked up the dress that I decided to wear for later.

The dress is a Salwar kameez. The salwar kameez is a loose-fitting and vibrant garment often worn in Bangladesh. Many tourists choose to buy some to help overcome the heat and to be more modest, in line with cultural expectations. Cassandra suggested me to by this one too.

The dress I brought is just a simple one. A color peach with small flowers designs. It’s simple but then a beautiful dress.

I wore the dress. It reached bellow my knees and paired it with a peach color legging. After dressing up, I started to dry my hair using my hair blower. After drying my hair, I curled it a little. After doing my hair, I began working my makeup. I applied a not so thick make up on my face, just enough mascara, lipstick, eyeshadow, eyebrow, a little blush on and a little contour. After done with my makeup, I looked at myself in the mirror and admired myself.

I took my purse and walk out my room, head to elevator, and when I stepped out the elevator, I walk straight to the exit and wait for a taxicab. Just few seconds, one taxi stopped in front of me. I get in and told him the address of where am I going.

After understanding me. He started the engine and started driving head to my destination.

While on my way to the university where Kier is, I can't help but feel so nervous. I'm afraid he might notice my presence while I'm attending their ceremony. Well, I hope not.

I heave a deep breath and tried to relax myself. I diverts my thinking about seeing him. It's my very first time meeting him personally. No, it's seeing him personally first. Meeting comes later.

I closed my eyes for a while. Within minutes, the driver called out my attention. I opened my eyes and realized that we're already out of Kier's university's entrance.

I stepped out the car after paying the bill and headed to the entrance.

I walk towards the entrance and saw Cassandra standing there, waiting for me. When I get closer to her, she happily hugged me and I hugged her back.

“Finally, I get to see you in person, sis.” She said as she tightens her arms around me.

“Yeah, finally, I’ve been waiting for the day to finally meet you in person too.” I responded and smiled at her when she pulled out.

Her eyes roam to me and looked at me up and down. “Woah, you looked so pretty on a salwar kameez, huh.” I just laughed and thanked her.

“I never ever thought that you would look good on it. Jeez, if only my brother knew you’re here, I can already imagine his happiness.”

“Nah it’s a plan, you know, and I don’t really have any attention on telling him that I’m watching his graduation ceremony.” I said and just laugh a little.

“Yeah, yeah, I really can’t understand your mind, sis, but yeah let’s just go inside, the ceremony will start soon.” She said and dragged me towards the entrance and we get in.

When we enter the university, I was awed of how really huge their campus is. When I saw it on picture when Kier send me some, it’s already big but I never thought that it would be this huge of a campus.

While my eyes were wandering around the campus, Cassandra just dragged me towards the place where the ceremony was held.

When we enter, there’s already a lot of parents and students at the hall. Cassandra dragged me towards their seats and pointed me where I can sit. In the seats line, her parents are also there.

A moment later. The ceremony finally began and the students where on view. My eyes landed on where my friend was standing. And just looked at him.

Ah so handsome. I thought. Well he really is so handsome. A six-footer man with a well-toned body. It’s my first time seeing him in person. He’s in his early twenties and damn, he looks so manly already. I wouldn’t be surprised to witness women drooling in awe of this man.

I avoided my eyes on him when he turns his head to look at her sister and wave at her. Cass wave to and didn’t say anything. I sat just beside Cassandra and I’m confident that he wouldn’t notice me there. Q

Finally, the ceremony really started and students began to march for their awards. It took few minutes until it’s finally Kier’s turn to march. I took out my phone from my purse and took a video of him. I watched him graduate. Finally, you’ve reached your dream. I thought.

After the whole ceremony, I stood up.

I turn my attention to Cass. “Hey Cass, sorry I got to go first. I have to leave before he came here. You know, what will happen if he saw me here.” I said.

“Oh, you’re leaving already? Ahm, can’t you stay for a little?” she said with a begging glint on her eyes.

“No, sorry, I need to go, I’ll contact you later when I get to the hotel.” I hugged her, “Thanks for guiding me here Cass, I appreciate it so much. You’re such an angel. And hehe thank you for keeping this a secret.”

“Yeah, not a problem, bon. What are sisters for? Of course, I’ll help you in anything as long as I can. So don’t hesitate to ask my help again, okay?”

“Yeah, I got that.” I said and pulled out.

She smiled at me and slightly wipes her watery eyes, “Bye, Shilou.”

“Bye, Cass.” We both wave good bye to each other and I left without looking back.

When I got out of the campus, I called a cab and get in, the cab started moving towards the hotel and dropped me there.

Arrived at the hotel, I walk inside and just walk straight to the elevator, stepped out of it and walked towards my room. And I laid at my bed.

After few minutes, I stood up and change. I wore a comfy short paired it with my oversized shirts, I removed my makeup and just take rest on my bed.

After an hour, Cass texted me.

‘Hey Shilou, good eves, we’re having a party celebration for brother’s graduation, wanna join?’

I chuckled at her message, ‘Nah, no thanks, just have fun there Cass, enjoy the party, tell him that someone said congratulations to him, don’t mention my name, I’ll chat him later though. I would really love to but we both know that I can’t.’

‘Ahm okay, I’ll tell him. Wish you were here. Really.’

‘Hahaha yeah I wished too but YK but I can’t.’.

‘Yeah, right.’

When our conversation ended, I opened my messenger and chatted Kier. ‘Good evening Kier, congratulations. ’...

Minute later he replied. ‘Good evening too, Shilou, thank you. 😊.. I wished you were here, we’re having a party celebration for me, and I’m a bit bored here 😑’...

‘Hahaha don’t be bored Kier, you should enjoy your party. You must be enjoying it.’

‘Yeah, you’re right. It’s my party and I should be enjoying this.’

After chatting with him, I dropped my phone on the bed. I just closed my eyes to sleep even just for a few hours. I need to build up my strength for later.
