Alton's POV

Solana let out a deep breath and rolled her eyes at me, leaning on the couch impatiently.

A smile crept onto my lips, and I had to bite my lower lip to stop myself from smiling too much.

I took another sip of my coffee. I was almost done, but I only took small sips to make it last for an hour.

"Don't you have work at your company?" she asked, raising an eyebrow and looking at me.

"I do, and I am working right now," I replied.

As she heard my response, confusion played in her eyes, and her forehead creased.

"Working?" she asked, clearly disbelieving.

"Alton, you're just drinking coffee... for almost an hour," she pointed out.

"I'm not simply drinking coffee, Solana. I'm sealing a deal," I said, pointing toward the contract she was holding.

"I told you I would send it to your office once I'm done reviewing the terms and conditions of your company," she explained.
