Chapter 5

 

It's been 2 weeks since Astraea has fully healed, and today Astraea is going to be discharged from the hospital. She was sitting on the side of the bed where Astraea was lying asleep. At that moment, she was thinking about what she should do so Zeus wouldn't take her child away from her, and when an idea popped in her mind, she immediately got up and took her bag.

She could only think of one person who could help her in this situation: her older brother.

 

And Freya guessed that the hiding from the billionaire game is still on.

 

While the phone was ringing, she was walking back and forth, nervous about how her brother would react, but she had to do it.

When her older brother answered the call, she immediately spoke, "Shaun, I need your help." She said nervously.

 

Her brother asked, "Why did something bad happen?" She feels her brother is worried because of its voice.

 

"Can you pick us up here with your private helicopter?" she asked as she put all of Astraea's belongings in the bag.

 

Her brother didn't complain. Instead, he said, "Okay, wait for me at our rest house there in New Jersey," her older brother said, and turned off the call.

 After she arranged her own belongings, she immediately handled Astraea's discharge papers. She was in a hurry when suddenly someone called her.

"Freya?" It was Beth who called her. "Why are you in a hurry?" Beth looked at her, perplexed. 

 

She pulled Beth closer and whispered, "Astraea and I will run away. Can you help us? "

 

Beth gasped at what she said, "Why?"

 

She looked down. "My talks with Zeus didn't go right, and you're right, Beth; he'll take Astraea from me and I won't let him, so please help me." She held Beth's hand while waiting for her answer.

 

"You know what, if you're not my best friend, I won't help you." Beth said and took Astraea's discharged paper. "All right, I'll take care of this. And do what you need to do so that you and Astraea can leave right away. " She smiled at Beth and nodded.

She hurriedly went back to the room and took their belongings and put them in the back compartment of Beth's car.

 It was just the right time when she returned to Astraea's room Beth had already finished taking care of Astraea's discharged papers.

 

 "Let's go, Freya." She nodded and approached Astraea to wake her up. 

 

"Astraea, baby, wake up." 

 

"Mommy?" Astraea said while her voice was still drowsy. 

 

"Wake up. We are going to leave. " Astraea nodded. And she immediately carried it.

 

 When they arrived at the parking lot, she immediately sat in the passenger seat while Astraea was sitting in her lap. Beth immediately starts the car and drives it to their destination.

As soon as they arrived at the rest house, they immediately went to the rooftop to wait for her older brother, and just a few minutes before they arrived, she already heard the sound of a helicopter coming, and it was her brother.

 

The helicopter landed at the helipad on their rooftop, and her older brother got out of the helicopter and took their belongings.

 

"Let's go," her brother said. But before she boarded the helicopter, she turned to face Beth and hugged her.

 

"Thank you, Beth, for everything." I'll just call you when we get to Canada," she said while she was fighting the tears that wanted to stream down her cheeks.

 

"Take care, and I'm going to miss you," Beth said as she wiped her own tears.

She nodded and immediately boarded the helicopter. When the helicopter slowly rose into the air, she waved her hand in Beth's direction while she was crying. She will miss her best friend and her job too, but she has to do it in order to keep her daughter.

 

"Mommy, where are we going?" She heard Astraea ask, so she turned to face her daughter.

 

"Baby, we're going back to Canada," she said as she gently stroked Astraea's hair.

 

"Why so suddenly, mommy?" She didn't know how to answer her daughter; she was lost for words.

"Because baby, mommy wants to spend a lot of time with you and in order for that to happen, we have to go back to Canada," 

"Okay, mommy, I understand that. But you know what, mommy? I have a lot of friends in New Jersey, and I will really miss them, "Astraea said, with sadness visible in her face. 

 

"Don't worry baby, mommy will be your playmate for the meantime. Do you like that? " She felt sorry for her daughter because she was affected by the trouble between her and Zeus. 

 

"Of course I'd love that, mommy," Astraea said, kissing her cheeks.

 

When the helicopter landed in Canada, her older brother immediately drove them to her house, where she and Astraea lived before. When they arrived at her house, Astraea immediately ran towards the playroom.

"Yaya Kris, please put all of their stuff inside. Freya and I will just talk. " Her older brother said in a serious voice. Kris immediately complied.

 

Her older brother motioned his hand to follow him. As they walked to the pool, she was preparing herself for what was about to happen.

"Now talk. I'd like you to explain what's going on. Did Zeus already know the truth, so you came back here, right? " She didn't know how she was going to explain to her brother what had happened in New Jersey.

 

"I didn't want him to know the truth, but I needed his help at that time." 

"Why don't you ask me for help? I'm your brother Freya. " Her brother asked, still calm, but she knew his anger.

 

"I also don't know why I did that. The only thing on my mind during those times was for my daughter to be well." Her brother sighed and hugged her. As her brother hugged her, her tears started to stream down her cheeks.

 

"Now that he knows the truth, I'm sure he will find you and Astraea." She immediately stopped crying and looked at her brother.

"I know, and that's what I was afraid of."

 

"Don't worry, I'm here. Okay, I won't let him take Astraea from you. " Her brother patted her head and hugged her. She felt relieved after hearing what her brother said because she knew he was always by her side, assisting her in overcoming the problem she was facing.

 

After talking to her older brother, she went to their room to put their things in closets. But suddenly, Astraea ran towards her.

"Mommy, are you okay?" She was surprised by what her daughter asked, so she carried Astraea and they lay down on the bed.

 

"Of course, baby mommy is okay. Why did you ask?" Astraea sat on her tummy and held her cheeks.

 

"I saw you crying earlier in the pool. What's the matter, mommy? " She was taken aback by what her daughter said, but she still smiled at her daughter to let her know she was okay.

She held her daughter's hand and said, "Don't worry, baby. I'm okay, mommy, just have a problem. "

 

"If only dad was here, you wouldn't be crying because I know he would help you with your problem." She was stunned by what her daughter said.

 

If you only knew that your father was my problem, you wouldn't be able to say that, my Astraea Freya said in her mind.

"Astraea, look at mommy," she called to her daughter's attention. "Do you want to meet your dad?" She didn't take her eyes off of Astraea when she asked that. Astraea was just looking at her, and she was just waiting for her daughter's answer.

"Yes, mommy, but..." Astraea said softly as she stared at her eyes. "I don't want to hurt you, mommy, because every time I ask you about my dad, I see pain in your eyes." Freya couldn't stop crying while Astraea hugged her. Sometimes she forgets that Astraea is just a child because sometimes she speaks like an adult.

 

Astraea was a genius like her father.

 

Astraea let go of her embrace and wiped away her tears. Astraea is already crying, but she still forces a smile.

"I love you, mommy," Astraea said and kissed her. She was really lucky to have a child like Astraea who always understood her.

 

Days passed, and everything was okay, but not until there was a knock on their door. And she was shocked when she opened it and saw Zeus.

 

"Do you think you can hide from me again, Freya?" Her feet trembled, causing her to drop the glass of water she was holding.

 

How on Earth did Zeus find them? My God. What should she do? What should she do?
