Ruby was tired. Physically and mentally. Why was it that when her life was finally focusing on the right path, something would borrow through and throw her in for a loop? She sighed as she thought about her current predicament with Kim and she was hurt and angry. Those two emotions fought for dominance within her but neither had succeeded.

She was hurt because it was her sister who was causing her so much pain, and she wondered if she ever really knew Kim. She couldn't believe Kim would blackmail her and threaten to ruin her life all for money. Was Kim really that shallow?
