Kim paced around her and Ruby's childhood home in angry steps. Why was this happening to her? How could it even happen? She had planned so meticulously and when she thought everything was right on track and she was about to come out victorious, it all blew up in her face.

But just the fact that Ruby also stayed here and there were traces of her everywhere made her want to rip the house into shreds.
