"Forget it. I remember being the harshest toward him."

"We were blinded by greed previously and didn't believe you. Otherwise, we wouldn't be in this situation," John said as he sighed helplessly.

"I've told you," Mike responded gloomily.

Henry would have a solution if he were around. After all, if Henry could handle the Trumans, the Scotts would not be a threat to him.

"If we can't sort things out, I'll try to hold them back. We can look for another chance later," Jane said softly.

She was petite, well-mannered, and very pretty. The Millers were highly satisfied with her family background and her looks.
