When she realized no one was around, she shouted softly.

"I'm fine."

Henry quickly stepped forward and opened the door. He was in a very good mood, even smiling.

Lydia felt relieved as she noticed his facial expression. However, she could not help but ask, "I guess all the treatments must've been successful since you're smiling so happily?"

"Well, we'll know in two days."

"Will we have to wait another two days to find out? Can you really do it?" Lydia was speechless. Even the mayor had been dragged into the situation to serve as a guarantor; the situation should not be taken lightly.

"Don't worry; everything's fine. I'm just teasing you." Henry laughed.

"You! You're so evil!" Lydia said angrily, feeling shy for a moment.

Then, she said, "We're extremely fortunate to have Mayor Miles step forward to act as the guarantor this time. How did you manage to invite him?"

"He insisted on contributing his effort. Hence, I had to find something for him to do," Henry responded honestly.
