"Exactly, Lydia, you've misunderstood your mom," William quickly said. He was baffled by how sharp Lydia had suddenly become.

Lydia chuckled bitterly. "Dad, Mom, this will be the last time I call you that. I'm not stupid and blind to everything, but you've forced me to see the truth.

Jennifer's eyes were filled with tears, and her face showed sadness and anger.

"But from now onward, I can no longer fulfill my duties as your daughter.
