Tyler's Point of View

"What are you doing?" I growled.

None of the women had heard me come into the kitchen. I could see that both Lucia and Diana looked uncomfortable. Good. I had listened to some of the exchange between them before I had made my presence known. According to my sister, both Omegas were nasty little bitches, but catching them in the act had been hard.

Adriana explained that she was cleaning up the dishes, so she could get something to eat. That is something she shouldn't have needed to do. It wasn't her job. I also noticed that she hadn't mentioned why she had sworn at them.

"Anything else?" I said.

I watched Lucia and Diana squirm. They looked scared that Adriana would tell me, and I allowed myself a little smile.

Adriana looked at them before saying, "No."

Damn it! I knew something had happened and would be happy to see their backs.

"Are you sure?" I pointedly asked. "We don't tolerate certain behaviour here, especially from the Omegas. If they have not been

Adriana's Point of View Tyler and I were sitting in the small dining room eating afternoon tea. I was always hungry now that my wolf had come through, even though I hadn't actually shifted yet. "I spoke with Daemon, and he confirmed you were his fated mate," Tyler said. "That makes you our Luna." I couldn't believe what he was telling me. Daemon confirmed it? He had been so adamant that I wasn't to tell anyone. Maybe Tyler was fishing for Daemon to see whether I would actually say anything. Or perhaps he was telling the truth, and Daemon had told him. Should I agree with him or not? Tyler continued when I didn't confirm or deny it, "He ordered you not to say anything, didn't he?" I decided to nod yes to this question, but I was still wary of him. I wanted a friend who would understand what I was going through, but Tyler was the Beta Daemon's Beta. I knew enough about packs to know that Tyler would always be loyal to Daemon. It all came down to whether I could trust Tyler or not.

Daemon's Point of View After listening to Adriana playing the piano and discussing it with Tyler, I sat in my office contemplating my next move. What was I going to do about Adriana? "You're going to fix this?" growled Theo. "That is what I am trying to do, you stupid wolf," I growled back. Theo was anxious that I fix the disaster, as he called it, with his mate. "She's my mate, too," I reminded him. "Then act like it," he said snarkily. Sometimes I wished I didn't have to share my mind and body with a wolf. When Tyler suggested taking her on a date, I initially thought about waiting until closer to the weekend. However, with Theo's grumbling, I figured I'd ask her sooner. Maybe even tonight. I grabbed the laptop to see what other restaurants were available. Taking Adriana to Luna wasn't the best course of action. It might just cause more trouble. There was a small Italian restaurant not far from Luna, so still in the centre of town. It wasn't run by shifters, but I had been

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 1: The Lost Luna - Ch. 24 Then Act Like It!

Adriana's Point of View I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Well, I could accept the stupid Omegas thinking Tyler was sweet over me because he was the only one nice to me so far. However, for Daemon to believe that and then remind me that I was his mate, I had to act like it. I had to act like it? Considering I was told not to tell anyone, he was unbelievable. "So, I'm your mate now, am I?" I asked snarkily. "Yes, you are, and you need to act like it!" he roared. "You are my mate, not Tyler's mate." It went from bad to worse. Daemon wouldn't listen to what I was trying to say, and now... he threatened to lock me in my room because Tyler grabbed my hand in a purely friendly platonic way. I guess Alphas are highly jealous creatures, but this one was borderline stupid. What was the Moon Goddess thinking when she matched me with him? "Are you going to listen to what I have to say, or just continue to make threats?" I yelled at him. Daemon stood there menacingly with his arms cross

Daemon's Point of View "You figure it out," Adriana said as she walked out the door to my office. "I just can't take your bullshit anymore. Either decide you want me as your mate and treat me like one or get the hell out of my life and let me go." Damn it! This was not how I wanted the conversation to go with Adriana. She was incensed that I would assume something was going on with her and Tyler. If I was being honest with myself, I trusted Tyler not to move in on my mate. But what about Adriana? The ultimate question was whether I could trust her. "If we mated with her properly, we would know we could trust her," Theo mentioned. "She probably won't want to mate with us now," I replied, sending Theo into the corner of my mind with his tail between his legs. I thought about Adriana and her actions. She didn't seem anything other than genuine, yet here I had accused her of trying to seduce Tyler. As for genuine, her anger at me was for sure. Then there was the fact that not only c

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 1: The Lost Luna - Ch. 26 Curious Questions

Mitchell's Point of View The questions that Daemon was asking made me think about former Luna Mara. She and her daughter, Ariana, Amelia or something similar, were the only other Alphas in the pack. If Daemon was picking them up, I would have to tell him everything that went on. He was going to be annoyed that I didn't tell him sooner, not to mention that I had allowed the young girl to work outside the pack without telling him. The first thing I needed to do was go and talk to Mara. It was essential to find out if Daemon knew about her and her daughter. My actions would be based on whether he did or not. What happened the day when Mara came here was tragic. Mara thought her pack was attacked because of the rare colour of their eyes. Traditionally shifters had brown eyes like their wolves. Occasionally, they would have blue. Eyes the colour of amethysts were totally unknown, except for her pack. Many generations ago, they had cross mated with another species, meaning they were hybri

Daemon's Point of View "I want you to follow Mitchell and see if he goes straight home." I had never felt I couldn't trust my father before, but the feeling was undeniable. There was something he wasn't telling me, and I was absolutely sure it had something to do with Adriana. "He is going into the Omega's section of the village," Adam reported back. "Keep following him at a distance," I replied. "Make sure he doesn't smell or see you, but if he does, tell him that you are on patrol through the village." An hour and a half later, Adam reported back to me with everything Mitchell had done. He had gone to Adriana's old house, but no one answered the door. That was to be expected, as her mother had passed away and she was with me. What surprised me was that he knew where a spare key was and went inside. Shortly, Mitchell came out and went to the neighbour's house. Adam wasn't close enough to hear what was said, but Mitchell went straight home after that. What was he doing? Why did h

Daemon's Point of View Over the next week and a half, Adriana and I had dinner at various human-owned restaurants three times. I still didn't want to take her back to Luna until we had mated fully and I had marked her. On the other nights, I made sure she and I dined in the small dining room together. I asked Adam and Tyler to eat elsewhere for a while, so I could take the time to get to know her properly. Each and every night, Adriana let me kiss her. Each and every night, it got more and more passionate. With each moan she made, I struggled to keep my wolf under control. I could smell her arousal and see it in her eyes. Her wolf was also at the surface, and she wanted me as much as I wanted her. I just didn't want to rush anything and risk losing her. When I asked Adriana if I had whisked her away from a boyfriend, she shook her head. Although she didn't say anything, I got the impression she hadn't dated before. Adriana did say that she was often asked out by humans when she wa

Adriana's Point of View Things had been going well with Daemon lately, and it was great. He had been treating me with much more respect since the argument and was trying to mend our relationship. I felt like there might be a chance for the two of us to make this mating situation work. I really hoped it would continue like this. We had been going out on dates and getting to know each other. Every night we came home after dinner, he would ask for a kiss. Just the touch of his skin against mine felt like I would combust. I was seriously wondering if he would take it further. Just when I thought he would, he stopped. What is with that? Does he even want me? While I was playing the piano, I started feeling very strange. Suddenly I felt like the room was sweltering hot, and I needed something, but I wasn't sure what exactly I needed. Maybe it was a cold shower I needed. I went into the bathroom, turned the shower to cold, and stripped. Sitting on the shower floor, I let the water wash ov

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Boo4: The Gamma and Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 14 The Measure of a Warrior

Lucienne's Point of ViewI took down the three warriors effortlessly, including their Gamma, who put up a decent fight but was ultimately no match for me. He would have been their top fighter, except maybe the Alphas, but he didn't have my training. It might have been a tad unfair since I wasn't a Wolf-Shifter like them, but they needed a reality check. As they rose to their feet, dusting themselves off, the humiliation was unmistakable in their expressions. Their eyes avoided mine, and their jaws clenched with the sting of defeat. The fact that a female had beaten them only deepened the shame and disgust written on their faces. Clearly, this wasn't something they'd soon forget—or forgive."Let me handle this," my father's calm yet commanding voice echoed through our mind-link. He had noticed the intense, uneasy look the warriors were casting in my direction—a mixture of shock, resentment, and bruised pride. His tone carried the subtle authority that had always made him such a respect

Cole's Point of ViewLucienne was here in our suite, changing her clothes. My wolf stirred restlessly, eager to claim her, to make her ours in every possible way. Marc and I had waited so long, dreaming of the day we'd finally have our mate at our side, leading our pack. But now that Lucienne was here, the reality was even more consuming than we'd ever imagined. Her strength, her loyalty, her fire… she was a perfect match for us in every sense. As if sensing my thoughts, Marc turned to me with a smirk. "You're as restless as I am," he murmured, his voice filled with anticipation."Can you blame me?" I replied, my gaze drifting to where Lucienne had stood only moments ago. "She's perfect. I don't know how we ever lived without her."Marc nodded, his expression softening. "Soon, brother," he promised. "When the time is right. We'll mark her together."The thought was both thrilling and humbling. We would be bound to her, our souls intertwined. And with Lucienne as our Luna, nothing coul

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 12 Conspiring and Conniving, Part 2

Elizabeth's Point of ViewI found Beatrice sitting stiffly on the edge of the packhouse couch, her friends scattered around her, gossiping to distract her from Lucienne's latest insult. But the fury that simmered in Beatrice's eyes told me their words weren't making a dent. The humiliation Lucienne had dealt her still festered, a wound no soothing words could heal. And if I had my way, it would fuel the fire I intended to stoke."Leave us," I ordered her friends with a pointed glare. They glanced uneasily at each other before retreating, understanding enough to avoid my temper.I liked that everyone obeyed me. Everyone, that is, except Duncan and his sons. I could feel my face scowling, and I couldn't have that. Scowling made faces wrinkle and look old.Once we were alone, I assessed her carefully. Her chin was down, her posture defensive—pathetic. This wouldn't do. I needed her sharp, cold, and controlled."Don't let that stupid bitch win," I snapped, refusing to let any hint of symp

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 11 Conspiring and Conniving Part 1

Elizabeth's Point of ViewI watched the pack's eyes trail after Lucienne as she entered, their gazes fixed on her like moths to a flame. It grated on my nerves—the fawning admiration, the way they seemed captivated by her every movement. This outsider had barely set foot into our world, yet she now commanded the attention of everyone, especially my stepsons, Marc and Cole. She had them under her spell, bewitched by her so-called strength and honour, all wrapped up in that carefully composed grace that seemed to draw people in without her lifting a finger. It was disgraceful, really. The way she carried herself, the way she flaunted her so-called strength as if it were some prize for them to chase. I'd seen how some of her own warriors looked at her, their eyes lingering just a second too long, betraying the kind of desire she seemed to stoke so effortlessly. And Lucienne, with that loose, careless smile, surely didn't mind. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she finds her way into mor

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 10 Royal Visit Part 2

Marc's Point of ViewShe came! Our mate came with the Royals, and we claimed her in public in front of the pack members present. I took it as a good sign that she didn't reject our advances. The King announced Lucienne as the future Gamma to the King. That was surprising. She was the one who would be evaluating our warriors.Gamma Ellis wasn't going to like that one bit, and there was nothing he could do about it. Lucienne was the Gamma of Gammas, undeniably the best warrior in our generation. To get that position, she would have needed to battle multiple opponents in the arena, some of them Alphas from other packs. Rumour had it that she was better than the King and Crown Prince. The King introduced the other members of their entourage and holy shit! Most of them were royalty of different species. Neither Cole nor I knew that Danielle was friends with such people. I reckoned that Beatrice wouldn't have been such a bitch to Danielle if she had realised. When we sat down for lunch, the

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 9 The Royal Visit Part 1

Duncan's Point of ViewThe moment the King and Queen stepped onto our pack lands, I sensed their raw and undeniable power. I had anticipated strength, of course. They were royalty, chosen by the Moon Goddess herself, then transformed into Lycans, much like the human movies portrayed—half beast, half human.Their reputation as a formidable pair was well known. But this? This was beyond anything I had imagined. Their presence wasn't just commanding; it was like an energy that pulsed through the air, seeping into the earth beneath our feet. Every wolf on our territory felt it, an instinctual recognition of the true power standing among us.The King's aura radiated a steady, unyielding strength, his gaze sharp and all-knowing. Beside him, the Queen was equally powerful, if not more, yet hers was a strength layered with grace—a silent but dangerous force, much like the calm before the storm. Together, they were a sight to behold, embodying everything a pack could desire in its leaders. As

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 8 Making a Change Part 2

Marc's' Point of ViewAfter training, I followed up on my mind link to Cole and gathered the younger members, including those who had looked hopeful during Cole's speech. Since none were warriors, I had to mind-link them to return to meet me in the training hall. When they arrived, the hall buzzed with nervous energy as they exchanged glances. It took patience and a lot of careful words, but eventually, they opened up. Beatrice and her posse left a lasting mark on this group, which was mainly composed of young teenage females. I could see the instilled fear and self-doubt. Many shifted uncomfortably, casting wary glances around as they finally shared their stories, revealing the extent of Beatrice's manipulation and cruelty."It's true," one of the younger females, Mallory, said, her voice barely above a whisper. Her eyes darted around the group before landing on me with a mix of fear and relief. "Beatrice and Michaela… they make life difficult for anyone they disapprove of, especially

  • Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)   Book 4: The Gamma And Her Twin Alphas - Chapter 7 Making a Change Part 1

Cole's Point of ViewFirst thing in the morning, we sought out Danielle's mother, Stephanie. "We found our mate last night, and she is friends with Danielle," said Marc."Congratulations," she answered. "Danielle stayed with her friends last night. Which one of her friends is your mate?""Her name is Lucienne," I gushed.Raising her left eyebrow, she warned, "You will have a strong Luna indeed. Be prepared for changes. She is not one to mince words, and there are some things that happen around here she will not like. She has a high moral compass."Good. I wasn't worried because things needed to change around here. After breakfast, as the warriors and many other pack members who were training with them gathered for a routine training session, I took the opportunity to address them. The non-warrior pack members would also include many females, although it wasn't compulsory for them to train, as it was for the men.The decision to integrate females into training had been our idea and had

Marc's Point of ViewAs I watched Lucienne stride out of the club, her every step brimming with authority, I felt like a force of nature had passed through. She was fierce, with a powerful presence that was impossible to ignore. The way she stood up to us, unyielding—that kind of strength was rare. And beneath it all, she was breathtaking, her beauty undeniable even as her words cut sharp.Cole stood beside me, his gaze fixed on the empty doorway Lucienne had just walked through. His jaw was tense as if he were trying to hold back the swell of emotion that had overtaken him. He swallowed, a flicker of something like awe passing over his features, and then he finally spoke, his voice low and almost reverent. "Our mate… she's incredible." He ran a hand over his face as if trying to piece together what he'd just witnessed. "I mean, I always imagined my mate would be strong, but Lucienne… she's beyond anything I could've pictured."He turned to me, his eyes searching mine as if hoping I'd
