Chapter 4

Lewis tried to rise and left the meeting room with a heart full of vengeance. His face flushed as he suppressed the strong emotions rumbling in his chest, occasional teeth grinding could be heard.

“Damn it! I have to meet Madam Tsude now; the magical power she gave is starting to fade. It's because Andy has that ring.”

Lewis sped his car at high speed towards the forest at the edge of the city. The journey took two hours with the help of his super-powered mobile.

There was no other thought in his mind, only how to get rid of Andy from this life and make him join his brother and sister-in-law in heaven.

“All of Daddy's wealth must fall into my hands; I am the only son. Andy has no right to get a single penny because he is just a grandson. I am more entitled to that wealth.”

Lewis was not willing for the wealth to fall into Andy's hands; he had to kill Andy immediately. It could not be delayed any longer!

Lewis had now arrived at the forest edge. He then headed to where he usually parked his luxury car, then hurried into the forest.

A gentle breeze blew, and the rustling of leaves created a haunting melody. The turmoil in Lewis's heart made him fearless; all he could think about now was how to quickly reach Madam Tsude's hut.

The distance between Lewis and a cabin was now only about twenty meters. The simple wooden cabin was made from forest wood with a slightly worn-out roof; the sturdy chimney seemed ready for the upcoming winter.

“Madam, are you—”

“Come in.”

A hoarse and heavy voice greeted Lewis's ears; it belonged to Madam Tsude. A strange aroma permeated the air strongly, like a foul smell mixed with spices. It was a very peculiar smell; a normal person would surely vomit!

“It seems the hidden heir has emerged; you cannot defeat him this time.”

“Come on, Madam. Think of cunning ways or whatever it takes; give me the best potion. Even if it's strange, I will drink it. I don't want Daddy to give all his wealth to Andy; my influence is also starting to fade.”

“The power of the ring will return to whomever it desires. The spirit in the ring doesn't like you because you are greedy.”

Madam Tsude went to a dusty wooden shelf, took a bottle of potion containing a bubbling light green liquid. Strangely enough! When she took the bottle, no dust flew, as if the magical power held the dust in place. She then opened a drawer and took out some small bones, wrapping them in a small black cloth after reciting a mantra.

Madam Tsude, with very pale skin and completely white eyes, handed it to the prepared Lewis. She also provided instructions and the properties of both items. Madam Tsude has been permanently blind since birth, but her steps and movements seemed as though she could clearly see everything around her. Madam Tsude was known for her black magic; she could even stop the rain instantly, just by shaking a small bell!

The woman agreed to help Lewis all this time because Lewis had provided a job to her son, a witch's son. It was just to repay the favor and because her son had received good treatment and a large salary, yes! That was Madam Tsude's reason.

“Go back, as much as possible, give three drops of that green liquid to Andy's food or drink. He will absorb it on his own without taste or smell. If you can't do three drops, even one drop will be enough. It is a magical poison that can slowly kill him. The bone in the cloth is a piece of bone from a male black cat, which will bring luck and protect you.”

Lewis thanked her and gave $500 to Madam Tsude. He immediately left, his face now looking pleased. He whistled and walked without any hesitation, even though the sky had darkened, indicating that night had arrived. It felt very brief at Madam Tsude's house, yet in reality, hours had passed.

Andy and Sebastian had finished dinner; Sebastian always looked proudly at his grandson's face.

“I like your firmness, Andy. I hope you can endure and live longer than your father and me.”

“Life and death are determined by fate, Grandpa. You should rest; I will continue to study about the company.”

Sebastian patted Andy's shoulder before heading to his room. Andy seemed busy with all the documents on the family room table, studying the company, assets, and its values, which reached a net profit of $6 billion.

Unknowingly, he fell asleep there until the early morning. Sebastian, who woke up earlier, felt sad seeing his grandson working hard. He instructed a servant to prepare breakfast for him and Andy.

Sebastian slowly shook Andy's shoulder to wake him up, a female servant brought two glasses of milk and toast.

“Wake up, Son. Let's have breakfast.”

Sebastian handed a glass of milk to Andy, with a tired face and still sleepy eyes, Andy accepted it.

Andy was surprised to see the milk in his glass bubbling and turning green, with a putrid smell, making him feel nauseous, and the glass shattered in his hand.

“What's happening? Why did your glass break?”

Andy's face was filled with anger; he stood up and walked towards the backyard. He felt like something was guiding his steps there.

He saw a servant whispering on his mobile phone.

“Who? Tell me!”

“Go to hell!”
